Blue Sky Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in New York

Blue Sky Chinese Restaurant is on a small block of stores on Springfield Boulevard, just off Union Turnpike. It competes with another Chinese food take out across the street on Union. The name is the only reason I chose to try the food here instead of the one on Union. The woman working at the counter was friendly and had no issue making changes in my order.

I ordered Kung Pao Chicken with Young Chow Fried Rice. The sauce was slightly spicy and had a nice taste. I've had better rice, and lacked a lot of the meats. I took a star off also because the place did not seem very clean, although there were about 5 tables to sit at.

Metered parking in front and delivery of course. Maybe my experience would have been one worthy of 5 stars if I hadn't gone on a rainy day, but one filled with blue...

It would be nice if there was a menu on the website Anyhow, I went in and they were having a whole argument. I had to wait a few mins to be attended. I ordered a lunch special shrimp and cashew nuts. I guess the cook was very upset bcs the food tasted horrible. 😖 The sauce wasn’t properly mixed. Some parts tasted like sweet garlic sauce and other parts tasted like just soy sauce. It was kinda dry too. I’ve been ordering this dish for a few yrs now. I’ve never had such a distasteful order! I live in Bayside. The spots out here make this plate so...

This is one of our favorites takeout Chinese restaurants. The food is good and reasonably priced. There is a good variety and you can spice it to taste. You can have sauce on the side if you want to add the sauce yourself We usually do pick up rather than take out so I cannot evaluate their delivery. The staff is very friendly and we have been going there so long they know us by the sound of my voice and they know orders by heart . Once ordered our food is ready...
