We went to this bar/restaurant while on a layover in JFK. The service was fast and friendly and they have outlets at the bar for charging you phone. We had the Pit Bean Humus, which they make with their baked beans and they serve with chips. The chips are made there, not out of a bag. You could tell due to the way they were prepared, they were cut the long way on the potato, rather than into the 'coin' shape that most chips are. The hummus was good, I had never had anything like that before, and it was vegetarian. They have a decent selection of beers on draft, about 8 or so, but they are priced the same as other airport bars, about $12/beer, so be prepared to run up a big tab quickly.

Server were incredibly friendly. Drinks and food came out in under 5 minutes. Crispy chicken sandwich was delicious. Great place to eat if you have a layover. Prices are high even for airport fare. But worth it if you’re in for some comfort food.

Well, get over paying a lot for food. JFK airport, really. So, my service was great. The beer nice, the salad dressing, great. The sandwich had a really good flavor. But the bread was the Sahara desert. Go for the creamy vinaigrette.

OVERPRICED for only low to moderate quality BBQ.

"The Road Trip" includes 2 burnt, crunchy ribs slathered in molasses, about 4 oz of pulled pork, (salty but otherwise moist and edible) and 3 tiny ramekins of slaw (good) pickles (average) and sweet potato mash (sicky sweet, barely edible)

The cost for this smorgasbord? $26.

Fine, I'm in an airport (and the server, who was great) warned me this was a sampler and the portions would be small.

When it arrived, I was surprised at the lack of a bun, so I asked for one, and was told that I'd be charged for it. How much??

$5. For a twenty five cent bun.

Skip this place. There are better, more sane...

Somewhat small portions for the price but we had a lot of time for our flight so it was a good place to sit down and relax before boarding our flight back to Los Angeles. Place was pretty empty during lunch time but if you need a place to relax before your flight then highly recommend but the food is pretty subpar and nothing special for a bbq place. But then again why would you go to a bbq place in New York and especially in an airport. So don't get your hope up for great...
