Bottega Social Club — Restaurant in New York

My colleague Dev and I enjoyed our 1st visit to Bottega on Saturday, 11/1/25. We were in the neighborhood and we were hungry. After some research, I decided Bottega was good to go.

There are two menus, breakfast (8 AM - 11 AM) and lunch (11 AM - 4 PM). There are so many delicious menu options to choose from that it makes it hard to decide. There are baked goods and beverages available for purchase.

Dev ordered the # 1 Maple Glazed Berkshire Bacon, Over Easy Eggs, Caciocavallo, Homemade Ketchup on a Brioche Bun and I ordered the 3, Prosciutto Cotto, Fried Egg, Smashed Fingerling Potato, Chives, Pecorino Toscano, Lemon Aioli, Salsa Verde on Stirato.

We truly enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches. There were two young ladies who were sitting next to our table and were intrigued by my sandwich. I shared with them the name of the sandwich and why I chose the sandwich.

I chose the sandwich based on the reviews I saw on my Yelp app. Dev and I both said we will be back to try the lunch menu. She lives in Long Island which speaks volume about the service received and contentment with the food.

Thank you Bottega for a wonderful breakfast experience because it truly was a unique experience for me. I’ve never eaten a sandwich like that for breakfast and it was delicious and AMAZING. Thank you Nikko and Chloe for bringing your vision to fruition!

It is time to talk about Bottega:

Bottega has made its mark in Brooklyn since May of 2025.

Bottega’s decor in my opinion is modern yet simplistic but I love it. I love the atmosphere, and the friendly and welcoming staff. The manager, Christian answered my questions and he made sure that we were good during our visit.

Bottega means Bodega which I found out after asking Christian, the wonderful store manager. There is an outdoor seating area located in a gated area on the side of Bottega and there is outdoor seating in front of Bottega.

Christian also informed me that Bottega hosts events with music which sounds pretty cool to me. Best of luck to...

When it comes to cafe's, I typically evaluate how much I enjoy them based on 3 categories:

1. Quality of the Drink: coffee, wine, teas, etc
2. The overall aesthetic and vibe
3. Service

Personally, it's hard to hit all 3 at one time for me, and Bottega has really impressed me by ticking off all 3 of my variables. The coffee is fantastic! The machine they use is a true Italian rig that can yield a fantastic cup of coffee to be experienced in a number of ways. It's definitely worth it! Additionally, if you're looking for a unique wine that pairs well with the day, they also have a tremendous selection of quality vinos. I haven't tried the matcha, however I've heard great things of that as well. Overall, the drink here is special.

Let's focus on the atmosphere now. The place is designed beautifully. You can see so many attention-to-detail examples like the lighting, which doesn't detract from the natural light that pours in, while still creating a great working ambiance in the event you need to get some quality work done on a computer. There is a healthy amount of seating inside, but if the day is gorgeous, they also have awesome outdoor seating for people watching.

Which turns our attention to the service. The staff is quick, and extremely kind. In a world where it's hard to differentiate from other concepts that are similar, Bottega knows just how to do it and it begins with their exceptional staff.

It's been less than a week since I first stopped in and I've been back three times, which is simultaneously a testament to how much I'm enjoying Bottega and how tough my week has been I think 😅

Bottega is one of my favorite new additions to the neighborhood! A lovely cafe/brunch space with gorgeous natural lighting and a comfortable amount of seating (there's also an outdoor seating area that's perfect for the weather right now). I'm not a coffee expert, but the tiramisu iced latte saved me on a Monday and the latte is strong enough to give me the shakes on an empty stomach 👍 (this is a compliment)

The avocado-frittata sandwich is light and flavorful and arugula forward; the bacon-egg-and-cheese is a great choice for a heftier start to your day, with thick slabs of bacon and perfectly runny egg yolks.
