Love this space. I really appreciate how clean the maintenance staff keeps the gym/ locker rooms. They keep the sanitizing wipes stocked pretty much 95% of time which is awesome. The gym is small but does the job. I do love how large the entire space is and how easy it is to navigate the building. Security and front desk staff is always friendly. Monique at the front desk is truly an all star! It’s awesome they have drop ins for basketball, pickleball, archery, etc. While I do enjoy this community space, I think there is room for improvement.
-There is not enough gym etiquette from members. Many times folks don’t wipe the gear after using it and or just leave weights still on barbells or just on the floor. People taking up two machines at peak or busy times can be challenging as well. I also feel sometimes, when folks are ego lifting: the entire space shakes. I also had an incident in which I was on the cable machines doing lat rows that required being on the floor. The guy lifting next to me heavily dropped the weight every time to where a 5lb weight fall off the rack right next to me above me. He never picked it up. Thankfully, I went to the front desk and they were great about handling the situation and updating me. I just wish there was more enforcement about folks having better gym etiquette.
-The workout space is small and when using the cable machines, being next to the lifting station, it gets really tight. So with movements that require more space- it’s just so compact when the gym is at peak hours. The tight space makes it difficult to not feel on top of one another.
-The treadmills and ellipticals have at least 2 machines out of order at any given time.
I will continue coming to this space. It’s a great space. Would love to see an expansion of the gym space. I know they have a new operator and have had internal changes- but really pleasant space in our...
Read moreI would have loved to give this place a full 5 stars because the space itself is beautiful, and I truly appreciate their efforts in supporting the community. However, after hosting a private event here, working with the Facility Director and the GSC team proved to be quite difficult. During both the planning process and the event, the Director repeatedly ignored our requests, left our questions unanswered, and provided little to no support. It was a frustrating experience that would make me hesitate to return for another event.
While the stunning venue helped ease some of the challenges, the lack of professionalism, support, and flexibility made it feel like the focus was more on money than providing a quality experience. Good service is about more than a great space—it’s about kindness and cooperation, which unfortunately, we didn’t receive.
On the bright side, the New Heights team was a joy to work with. They were incredibly warm and helpful, making us feel welcome and supported, despite the difficulties we faced with the Global Sports Center. It's clear who truly values the people and...
Read moreThey do not care about the community. All they care about is making money. They constantly play loud music after quiet hours and ignore their neighbors who reside in the two apartment building directly adjacent to the community center. They are the epitome of privilege and thinking the rules don’t apply to them. They are the absolute worst neighbors that you can possibly imagine.
To the owner: there were metal barriers and port-a-potties on the sidewalks all weekend, which clearly indicated a party. Residents in my building WhatsApp group heard the noise as well. And on the night of the Chabbad party in December, you didn’t stop playing music until 1:30am. But it figures you’d come on here and try to gaslight me by bringing up children’s parties when my window is literally directly next to the window of the...
