PLEASE do NOT bring your dog here. Especially if they are a miniature Schnauzer/terrier. The staff is not equipped for this breed and is clearly clueless. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I never in my life leave reviews, but I am genuinely shocked by my last few experiences.
The last two visits, my dog was shaking to go in here. The first time, I thought my dog was just being nervous and would get more comfortable (as he has been coming here for about a year). On his last visit, he was trembling, clawing at my side and refused to leave my side and was barking helplessly for me. I should have known then. I don't care what the front desk says, no dog should act like this going to get groomed, and I lost all trust for what happens downstairs.
The groomer listened to nothing I had to say about a classic schnauzer cut and his matting, and actually made his matting worse. On top of this, she cut his neck, which led to a MASSIVE infection and vet bill. My vet was shocked at how poorly he was cut. No shit my dog was trembling to go in here, they are far from careful. We have a fantastic, show dog groomer in NJ that took a look at my poor guy, and was visibly disgusted with his condition. His matting had been there for MONTHS and was not fixed, leading to visible skin irritation. Let alone the type of cut he got did not match the breed. This groomer was shocked I let my dog endure this, as my guy trotted on it, happy as a clam.
I do not respect this place at all. The way they treated my dog, the condition they left him in, and the PRICE I paid for this is NOT worth it. Like I said, I never leave reviews, but this had to be said. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE. Go somewhere else, even if slightly inconvenient. Your dog...
Read moreNice place- they separate the dogs that are different sizes which is what I appreciate and itâs way more affordable than the other places in FiDi.
A short walk from the Oculus if youâre a commuter as well which is really nice! They communicate a lot with you about how your dog did if you have questions or concerns. They even once in a while send you a cute picture of your pup!
What I really like is that this doggie daycare is open later than most, which is nice if you have to stay later after work you donât have to figure out someone to pick up your pup or an alternative plan for your pup that day.
My dog has separation anxiety and will bark like crazy if left alone (not great if you live in an apartment) and sometimes I have an event after work and I used to have to go crazy trying to figure out who could pick her up from daycare or if someone could watch her bc I couldnât get to her in time to pick her up. Itâs nice to know that I have until nearly 8PM to pick her up if I ever need it and I donât have to leave her home if I have to stay later at work and upset my neighbors with her...
Read moreWe initially brought our 4-month-old German Shepherd puppy to this daycare for socialization. The first day, we called to check in, and they reported he had "a lot of energy," which is expected for a puppy. However, the following day, we received a call to pick him up because he was approaching other dogs to play. Isn't that typical puppy behavior?
Upon picking him up, the staff admitted they lacked experience with German Shepherd puppies, leaving us perplexed. We subsequently switched to Biscuits and Bath in FiDi, where our puppy, now 7 months old, has thrived without any issues. They expertly handle his hyperactivity by placing him in a separate area until he calms down.
I forgot to write this review originally but I received a christmas card from them and it made me laugh out loud. Any person who says they're better than B&B is...
