Brooklyn Dim Sum Co — Restaurant in New York

I can't speak to the atmosphere since I usually get delivery, but I can speak to their food and service. Though I order mostly the same thing, either roast pork over rice (Char Sui Rice) or the Stir Fried Rice cakes, I do step out and order other things. With only one exception (the turnip cakes), whatever I have ordered has been fresh and flavorful. Maybe the turnip cakes didn't hit because it didn't have enough Chinese sausage in it, but never had before, so I have no point of reference.

I keep going back to the Char Sui because it is perfect for when you want porky goodness. It is a nice cut of pork, with that excellent sweet and savory flavor that only quality Chinese roast pork can give. Every once in a while, you get a crispy end that has the caramelized sauce on it for an extra pop of flavor and textural enhancement. It is always fresh and never leathery. Restaurants with lower quality standards sometimes send pork jerky because the texture and lack of freshness let's you know it's been around a while. Ewwwww.

The veggie accompaniments are always fresh, crunchy, and tasty as well. I didn't even know the yellow squared veg was daikon! I thought it was pinapple because I never had a daikon pickle like this! It is yellow and has a hint of sweet that plays off the pork and the heaps of rice lightly kissed by ginger they serve it with. I always try to get the perfect bite of the three.

I was on a theme and also ordered their XO Pork Dumplings. Love the five spice in the filling that make them unique. The crusty bottom of the dumpling also makes them fun to eat.

I love this place, and when I order, I always let them know how much I appreciate their food. I wish them many good years of yummy success in their business! I will go to the spot one day. The atmosphere does look...

My family and I absolutely loved our dinner tonight with Brooklyn Dim Sum Co.! We ordered with UberEats and were able to get some discounts on some of our order which is amazing to cut some costs from the start. Uber can get a little expensive with fees but this helps me to want to order more food and spend a little less. We ended up getting the chicken fried rice, chicken noodles, bbq chicken and the spring rolls. From start to finish, all of the food was amazing and I can’t even think of one bad thing I could say about! The flavors of each and every dish was incredible and individual within themselves. You wan taste the freshness and thoughtfulness of every part throughout them all. It feels as if there is so much attention to all the little details, harmonizing into one. That’s really how I felt when I ate it and it was so satisfying! Hands down, some of the best food I’ve had, especially from Uber, in a really long time! Another thing I have to say is even the temperature of the food was great by the time it arrived, hats off to the driver but also on the restaurants quick handoff to them to get it to us like that! The manager is very helpful, thoughtful and professional. I order one for one chicken rice and mistakenly thought it was a char siew rice, the manager call making sure I know is chicken rice and I told him I thought is char siew rice, he professionally solve the problem by giving me one of each. Thank you both chicken and char siew is delicious and served with pineapple and cucumber with ginger rice. This is a take out shop by uber eats, lookout for Brooklyn dim sum. You won't. Regret.
