One of my biggest regrets was not visiting this shop before they closed their first location in Chelsea. But yesterday, I was finally able to get my hands on their einspanners!
Bunny&Bro is a nice, airy space serving some of the best einspanners and pastries in the city. Itâs a laptop friendly cafe equipped with a good amount of seating, along with outlets scattered throughout. They also have free wifi and a bathroom in the back. All in all, a solid cafe to get some work done or catch up with some friends!
I finally got to try their matcha einspanner, and it definitely didnât disappoint! Itâs a more modern twist on matcha, with some cream and matcha drizzle that really seals the deal. It also helps that the latte itself is super cute and photogenic.
I also ordered their parmesan twist, which turned out surprisingly good. Itâs shaped like palmiers, and when they heat it up for you, has a nice flakiness to it. Definitely recommend giving them a try!

Theyâre best known for their creative einspänners, but the menu also features other Asian-inspired specialty drinks like ube coffee, coconut latte, and strawberry matcha.
Iâve tried all of their einspänners at both the old and new locations, and the original coffee einspänner is still my favorite.
ďźBlack Sesame Einspänner $8.35 I couldnât stop but kept scooping up the whipped cream with black sesame drizzle. I added espresso to mine for some caffeine, but honestly Iâd prefer it without. I thought the pure black sesame flavor would be nuttier and bolder on its own.
ďźMatcha Einspänner $8.55 Made with ceremonial grade matcha, this one had a richer flavor. I loved how it paired with oat milkâsmooth, earthy, and just the right amount of creamy. The sweet whipped cream was...
Read moreThis coffee shop is seriously an issue. Coffee is always the solution after a long day at work so I tried this shop. Biggest mistake. The atmosphere was visually appealing, which is what led me inside, but oddly very noisy for a coffee shop. Good lord, totally not what I want to hear after a long day. Not to mention the absolutely blinding lighting. Wow. The wait for my order was fine as well. However, when I received my drink, I was severely disappointed. I ordered a strawberry matcha drink and it did not live up to my expectations. Very watery drink, random soggy chucks of strawberry, and ultimately an insult to my tastebuds. I even spotted a strawberry leaf floating in my drink. Oh my Lordy lord. I ended up trashing it, oh what a lossâŚIf youâre in the area looking for authentic matcha or a drink in general, I advise you find a...
