The decor feels unfinished, with the lingering scent of MDF adding to the sense of incompletion. Drink options aren’t labeled, which makes ordering oddly cryptic, and the prices are unexpectedly steep given the setup. The crowd is a curious mix: locals, students buried in homework, and others simply seeking a quiet coffee. It’s not unpleasant, but it’s hard to tell what experience they’re aiming to offer.

Service, unfortunately, didn’t clarify much. The server seemed genuinely unsure of how anything worked, he didn’t know the prices, couldn’t explain the menu, and looked visibly flustered when asked basic questions. I ordered one of the more expensive drinks and requested a glass, but was handed a flimsy plastic cup instead. For a place that seems to be reaching for a curated vibe, the execution felt oddly improvised.

The facilities didn’t help the impression either. The toilets were barely functional, poorly maintained and lacking basic supplies. It felt more like a reluctant afterthought than a space intended for actual use. For a venue charging premium prices, the lack of care in such a fundamental area was hard...

I came to this coffee shop when they first opened and stopped coming because the coffee was bad. Yesterday I decided to give it another try and finally got a great cortado — 4 oz, as it should be. Today I ordered a cortado again and got a 6 oz cappuccino. When I asked, the guy said, ‘this is how we do our cortado.’ Well, yesterday that was not the case.

Cortado is 4 oz, not 6. Cappuccino is 6 oz, not 8. You jump from 90 calories to 135!

What I got today was a 6 oz which is a cappuccino, not a cortado. Yesterday proved you can make it right. Hire a proper barista and keep it consistent.

I would love to come here every day it’s convenient, but for the price of this coffee I want to get proper service and proper coffee!

Cafe Ambrosia feels like a sanctuary for the soul. I decided to take a five-minute break with a warm, delicious latte in hand—and I couldn’t have made a better choice. The coffee is, quite simply, outstanding. The moment I stepped in, I couldn’t help but think, “I’ve been waiting for a place like this.” Then came the moment I bit into their apple cinnamon treat.
