(I’ve never seen in my life a bartender kissing her customer in the mouth in front of the other people). It’s the worst service I’ve ever had. My boyfriend asked for 2 simple beers at the bar and when I arrived, I asked for a whiskey sour, I waited 10 minutes to get my whiskey sour and I then got a simple whiskey soda up!! Incredible, I got something that I never asked for! When I told the manager because of the female bartender was ignoring us and she knew about my upset because of my face (I can’t hide it), she said: I know where you’re coming from and I understand but I don’t have any eggs for the whiskey sour. Sooooo, if you know that and you’re working on service, you should be more patient with no Americans and you should tell about “I don’t have any eggs for the whiskey sour”, (which business doesn’t have any eggs when they have a kitchen?) you got it? It’s logical at least ask one time in the day an one person that looks like NOT American and that person can be a tourist or not the industry, but I work in the industry and I need to ask if the person is ok without one ingredient in the drink, I need to CHECK, and the whiskey sour is NOT a fine drink (like she expressed to me), it’s a classic cocktail in the city instead! By the way, the manager never supported us too, he allowed that she treated me in a bad way and finally, she said: “don’t come back”. Beautiful! I’m pretty sure I won’t come back. Thank you! You know? You are in New York City, you have to deal with it.

I'm very upset I just bought a 18" PECORINO ROMANO PIZZA Costed $20 and didn't even taste the rest of the ingredients all it tasted more like was the NY STYLE CHEESE PIZZA. it was very cheap I barely saw any pecorino cheese any where. if it was gonna come like this I could have saved money buying the NY STYLE CHEESE PIZZA. but since I had no option else to buy food time was ticking. so I bought from Carmines I was hungry and still ate from what I ordered. it arrived on time but was burnt and wasn't even hot pizza not even warm it was straight up cold. I mean seriously I gotta think about it was my entire pie sitting hours on the pan and since they were lazy enough to give me a fresh made pie they thought I wouldn't notice the looks and taste I mean others might love this place but these people have no passion in making pizza at long as the money is flowing until one customer gets sick from their food they're screwed out their asses MERRY CHRISTMAS by the way I'm also writing this review just in case I'm dead I got proof through the emails GOOD LUCK and one last thing all the pizzerias around taste better than Carmines if ya wondering why didn't I buy from others well I'm more of a food taster trying to nail the best pizza in brooklyn reviews are important to read and if you want to give this place a try go ahead and when something goes wrong you'll think of my review on here.

I ran in here looking for a quick slice, not expecting to find a gem! To my surprise this is a pizzeria, bakery, and cafe all in one. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There is a wide variety of food, baked goods and coffee. The pizzeria opens up into their restaurant, which looks really nice (but I’ll get into that when I visit the restaurant). I had a wood fired margarita slice and the lasagna slice. Both were tasty and done really well. The marinara on the margarita was vibrant and flavorful while the lasagna tasted like home made lasagna my mom used to make. There was plenty of seating there. I can’t wait to stop in an again and try something else. Maybe the garlic knot chicken parm pizza. Don’t forget to grab a cannoli or maybe some gelato on the way out to enjoy at home. I was really impressed. If you’re in the area, stop in Food: 5 | Service: 5 | Atmosphere: 5 Seating type: in a addition to tables there is countertop seating here at the care area Vegetarian options: plenty of vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: the staff seemed very accommodating Parking space: no designated parking area Parking options: street parking can be tricky here Wheelchair accessibility: this restaurant is wheelchair accessible

Always wanted to try this neighborhood staple, but since I’m gluten free, for years I avoided it. I’m embarrassed to admit, but I subconsciously assumed that this old school Brooklyn hideout might not have the best gluten free options... but all this changed last night when my world was rocked by their delightfully decadent gluten free pie. Solid crust piled high with toppings at an affordable price, it did not disappoint. Friendly service was the pepperoni on top.

Crust: Looks and tastes like a pre-made, store bought gf crust. But that said, it’s definitely at the top end of that scale. Not paper thin cracker style, think more upscale Ellio’s.

Toppings: This is where Carmine’s gf pizza shines. I like my za piled high with veggies, and oh my did they oblige.... peppers, onions, mushrooms, olives packed to the brim of the box. Sauce and cheese were also stellar.

Size/price: Though the staff described the gf pie as personal, there was no way I could scarf it in one sitting if I tried... which brings me to price. $14.50 for this ovate goddess of perfection. As other gluten free folks will know.... this is a great price for a hefty gf pizza that easily feeds two.

Thank you, Carmine’s, for keeping our dietary needs in your hearts, our stomachs happy, and not charging us out the wazoo for it ♥️

I’m overjoyed to have this option in the...
