The Brick — Attraction in New York

Went two nights in a row. First night i got a drink and was told the drinks were a SUGGESTED DONATION of 6 dollars which I happily paid. Second night I went, the person told me the drinks were 6 dollars, no mention of suggested donation. They don't have a liquor license to be so bold as to say the drinks are 6 dollars. I had arrived 5 minutes before the show started and I was not going to make a stink about it, but please do not let them mislead you. The drinks are suggested donation.

I've now heard from two theater makers who've presented their plays at The Brick and had terrible experiences with administrative staff. Staff members were hostile, litigious, and generally unpleasant. Having gone to The Brick for many theater things in the past, I will no longer be going to The Brick for anything, and I will be sure everyone I work with in the theater knows that they can expect to be treated with disrespect and hostility if they choose to present...
