Chabelitas place — Restaurant in New York

I don't speak perfect Spanish. However this does not mean I can't communicate to people in Spanish. Maybe it's because I'm Peruvian, and we may talk a bit differently, but the lady at the counter did not know (or seem to understand) what I was trying to order. Clear as day, bro, I want those chicharones with the green sauce.

Anyways, here's the food part of the review. I loved it. It's a bit pricey for my tastes, but it was exceptional. If I had cash to throw away like that, I would be at this place every single day. But I don't. Still, don't stop that from letting you treat yourself to authenticity. This is some fire stuff.

The place also has a lot of other Mexican products and other miscellaneous items which you might be interested in, but I came in here for the food and nothing...

A little expensive because there is no competition nearby. They have some good food. I'm a little scared to order certain menu items when the younger lady is in the kitchen. She doesn't know how to season or cook things Agua de horchata, tortas and chilaquiles are good 8/10
