When my flight got cancelled and I found myself unexpectedly solo at the Holiday Inn Express in Woodside, I needed a pick-me-up—and maybe something cold to take the edge off. I wandered over to Key Market for a couple of beers and, on the way, spotted this glorious food truck: Chinelos Tacos Birria.

With no dinner plan and no clue where else to go, I made a mental note to stop on my way back—and wow, am I glad I did. Total hidden gem! I ordered two shrimp tacos, and they were loaded—plenty of perfectly cooked shrimp, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, queso fresco, and a touch of cilantro. My only tiny gripe? They used lemons instead of limes. But the flavorful hot sauce totally made up for it.

The service? Uber friendly. Seriously, the kind of warm, welcoming energy that makes you feel like a regular even if you're just passing through.
