HYBRID DRIVING SCHOOL — Local services in New York

I am totally disapointed in the way the woman that run this school acted towards me being that the mistske was her fault in may myself and someone Else i know ( we call then my friend for the purpose of this review ) purchased a Groupon for the 5 hr class online due to covid-19 after taking rhe class my friend had to reach out to them back in june 2021 to send the 5 hour class certificate that should have been sent since May 2021 the woman said she was still trying send everone there certicate but was backed up and she will send that day she was sorry my friend was happy with her Response. So i assumed she would Eventually get to mine and also send it to the address that I provided her at the time I’ve taken a class being she was backed up i Expected it to take some time but months went by and days went by and I’m not going to lie I totally forgot about it so today March 2022 I decided I was going to proceed with trying to obtain my license when I went to go register for the road test I discovered I would need my five hour certificate that was never sent to me in 2021 I reached out to the woman who owned the school who my friend originally had spoke for 2 weeks she said she would look into And get back She never did then final when i readed out again today she was very naste and disrespectful yelling and screaming at me scolding me as if I was her child and said to me that she sent the certificate with my friends certificate what was kind of strange to me she never knew me and my friend was affiliated myself or my friend never indicated this too her we also have used two different addresses and two different cities So I found it very strange once she said that to belive anything she said that right there indicated to me that she was lying she refused at first to send me a copy of my certificate and gave me a very hard time And was very disrespectful and rude even used disrespectful language to me I found this to be very unprofessional I have also reached out to DMV to let them know the kind of people they have representing them and this situation should be looked into maybe this woman doesn’t realize it’s people like us who do not have licenses they keep her in business and if she continues to treat her customers like this and stealing from then she will not be in business for long I would not recommend going to the school to anyone just off of the experience that I had with this woman she is not good Representation for the company they should fire her or replace her and if she is the owner then I feel sorry for the business. I found hybrid driving school through Google and all of the reviews are what led me to start taking lessons with Ms. Gigi. I was definitely a new inexperienced driver and I knew I needed to have an instructor that could be patient and knowledgeable. After my evaluation lesson Ms. Gigi knew right away what I needed help with. I felt at ease during each lesson because of her calming and personable personality. She guided me through every step of the way and gave me the encouragement and confidence I needed during every lesson. Her main focus of each lesson was to make sure that her student would be capable of operating a car, knowledgable about the rules and signs of the road, but most importantly how to be safe on the road, being observant and always using good judgment. Whether you are an inexperienced driver or just need to brush up on your skills I definitely recommend checking out Hybrid Driving school. They can accommodate with your schedule, you are given a reminder call and Ms. Gigi is always professional and punctual. I am so grateful that I was able to take lessons with Ms. Gigi and I was able to pass my road test the first time!!! I was the first student to pass for 2018, and I plan on taking a few more lessons with Ms. Gigi to brush up on...

I don't know how this thing got 5 stars. I think most of these reviews are fake. The lady who is the instructor uses her personal car as the driving school car. She overcharges. for each lesson the fee is $45 but you could get a lesson for $30-35 in other schools that have many students and multiple cars, her teaching is not very much different from other good driving schools. She will compel you to take 2 lessons each time instead of 1 lesson & if you say no she will start arguing with you and force you again & again.. her benefit is she could grab $90 at a time and you don't learn that much when you take 2 lessons on a single day.

The main problem is she talks too much, will tell you many stories of her life, make you annoyed and you can't concentrate in driving. another problem is she will come to pick you up 10-12 minutes earlier than your scheduled time. Being on time is excellent. But when she shows up 10 minutes earlier she never waits for you to be ready instead she will force you to come out in a minute by calling & texting repeatedly. That's super annoying & she does this regularly.

Her teaching is good but like other driving schools she will make sure that you don't pass the roadtest in the first attempt because if you pass they won't...
