Chocolate Connects Inc — Restaurant in New York

I’m so disappointed with my experience last night. I visited last week with a friend and had a crepe that was pretty delicious so I decided to go back again last night with my family for desserts. We drove 30 minutes to get there and was met with an employee who didn’t seem like he even wanted to be there. When I asked him a question about the menu his answers were short and crass almost like I was annoying him. But the cherry on top? He was helping these two kids who ordered dessert and went to give them a fork and knife for their cake, and just like that, a ROACH made a debut. Came right out of the container behind the counter that they house the forks and knives. He didn’t even apologize. He flicked it off and gave the kids the utensils anyway. The kids look disappointed but also torn because they didn’t know if they should still eat it because it looked delicious. I told them do what they want but at least get new utensils from somewhere else! We left. I was turned off. If one roach can come out during a busy hour, I can’t imagine when it’s quiet.

Also. Before I decided to write this review and bring it to the internet, I tried to call the store to speak to a manager but the phone keeps going to voicemail. So...

Amazing place !!! The owners are brothers I think either way they are so helpfull and sweet ! Overall 10/10 I highly recommend this place to come with kids and anyone that has a sweet tooth. I came here with 6 kids my niece really liked donut covered in chocolate. My other niece got the bubble waffle with strawberries & banana and she said it’s a 10/10 I got the Biscoff cheesecake cup it’s really good !!! I will be back . One of my nieces also got the strawberry cup which is just whole strawberries in cup with plain chocolate and white chocolate I tried one the strawberries were nice and fresh ! They make everything to order ! The chocolate is sweet !! But in a good way ! It’s good chocolate ! Like I said perfect place if ur having a craving or a lil date stop before u go somewhere else or coming from dinner . I’m glad it’s in Flatbush ! Great store willl be back.

FYI the chocolate covered Oreos is just Oreos covered in chocolate so if you have child that doesn’t know what they want lol that can be a option it’s sweet ! Chocolate is drizzled on it comes with 2 Oreos !

I don't know how to find the words to express my delight with Chocolate Connect! I and my amazing chef husband are visiting our daughter (born in Brooklyn but we live in Vermont) and we went there last night on our way home from dinner. I ordered the pistachio cream crepe and I don't think I have ever had any dessert that good in my life! I ordered the crepe to go and the gentleman was just as nice as could be. The crepe takes a bit of time to make probably because it is absolutely exquisite in both presentation and taste. There were actually I think four crepe or the two were folded (not sure). The pistachio cream was amazing and there was a bit more on top drizzled with the white chocolate and with a design which looked beautiful. Then there was a strip of crumbled pistachio along one side...enough to scrap a bit into each bite. The crepe themselves were just a tad thicker than one of the traditional ultra thin crepes so you could get the flavor of the crepe and it wasn't just drowned out by the filling and the topping. Every detail of this crepe was perfection and I'm going to be dreaming about it for a long time! I wish you all the best and hope you are here for many...
