Walked in off of a recommendation of my neighbor and it being fairly close to my house got in there it took me more time to pick my color and dry than it did getting my pedicure and manicure, the pedicure was so rushed/ fast the tec didn’t even clean under my toe nails.
It was the quickest file down with the machine quick push back, then oil was applied to my legs and rubbed in but she did ask if I needed callus remover, I told her no please scrub my feet, which she hardly did there was no scrubbing of the top of my feet. There was no soap used. There was nothing just a little blue tablet that they put in the water that was it no bubbles nothing noticed she put the oil on my foot and wiped it down to then put the paper btwn the toes. I asked her if she was not gonna clean under the toenail and she was like what so I asked her for the for the tool to do it my self. then she finally proceeded to clean it, but she said that they don’t use soap nor the brush to scrub the feet 🙄…
Manicure I was in two minds if I even wanted her to do it due to the fact that the pedicure was so fast, but I continued on with it, and that was even faster. So now not even 24 hours later,( got my nails done @3:15 yesterday it’s now 1:14 9.16.24)my nails are all chipped. All I did was basic polish on both my toes in my hands as the gel and the acrylics tend to mess up my nails… (see attached photos) Needless to say I won’t be going back and will be heading to another salon today to get my nails redone and spend more money than I wanted to … we not even gonna talk about the fact that she tried to over...
Read moreI’ve been looking for a new nail salon for a while now, so when a colleague and neighbor gave me two independent recommendations for Tina at Diamond nails, I decided to give them a try.
The first time I went they were crowded, so I went back the following day. When I walked in, I requested Tina and proceeded to wait two hours to be injured.
When I finally got into the chair, she was a bit unfriendly. That should have been my first clue to leave immediately. I told her I wanted a gel pedicure. She began the service and was rough. While she was cutting my cuticles she cut my big toe. I jumped and said “Oww”. She paused briefly and slowed down a bit and was less rough.
The gel polish she applied looked like it was done by my 3 year old niece. I knew I was not going to return. Within two weeks of the service, my left big toe began to hurt and swell. I went to a podiatrist yesterday where I was diagnosed with an infection and put on 10 days of antibiotics. I have to return next week as the podiatrist will have to remove the mail on my big toe to see how far down the infection went.
I returned to the nail salon today. I showed the manager what happened. She said that Tina did not cut me, my toe could have been infected by any other means and what did I want for them to do? I asked them what were they prepared to do. She offered me $25 dollar for my trouble. Do yourself a favor: avoid this salon at all costs. They just might lose a body part due to their...
Read moreI just did my nails on Saturday evening and one of my nail broke because the acrylic was so thin. Came back to get that one nail fixed and one of my toe nail polish got messed up. They charged me $5 for that one nail in the space of 2 days when I explained to them that the acrylic was too thin. They told me it wasn't their fault and I have to pay for it. Charged me $3 for one for nail. Plus they had me sitting there for almost 2 hours to fix one nail and 3 different people doing one nail. Only because I wasn't paying for a fresh set they treated me this way. And on top of that had a very nasty attitude. They robbed me of $8. In the space of 2 days of getting my nails done I have never been at a nail salon where they charge you based on 2 days. Plus you're supposed to be satisfied as a customer and want to come back. I would never go back to this nail salon and I won't recommend them to anyone. Poor service and too expensive for an...
