Church Ave. Gourmet Deli and Grill Zone — Restaurant in New York

Love the guy at the front counter and was so happy there was finally a big, well stocked deli within a few blocks of my house but wanna say theres a guy behind the grill who I've never seen in a beanie or hairnet type thing Once, even let the front desk guy know that my boyfriend found a long, curly hair in his food from there once. Could have called the health department but I let the store know in the most polite way I could and the cook has still not had a hat on after that and has also since been so rude to myself and several of my friends who've come in the store when we've asked a question or specified how to make the food, I hate being that person but dude it was a looong hair in my food, also he once told my friend "if you know how you want it why not just make it yourself" when they were specifying how they wanted their order.... honestly its comedy..I wear a beanie at work most days the whole day through- it's...

This deli needs to take responsibility for its surroundings. It’s unacceptable to have a shiny, well-kept store while the outside is a mess of garbage and cigarette butts. Invest in a trash can inside your store to stop trash from flying down the street—it’s not that hard.

This deli needs to install proper outdoor ashtrays with narrow necks to control the cigarette litter piling up outside. It’s a simple solution that shows respect for the neighborhood and keeps the area clean. Adding these smoker’s receptacles would make a huge difference and prevent the mess of cigarette butts from spreading along the street.

Now I’ll have to say that I think the food here is overly hyped. In a goal to find a good chicken cutlet I came across the same problem.

The cutlet is really thin. The bread used for the sandwich seems thin as well causing very few ingredients to be packed in. The taste was mediocre.

The drink selection isn’t bad but the chips were limited as well. Overall if seems average...
