Cugini Pizzeria & Ristorante — Restaurant in New York

I was a little skeptical trying this new pizza place at first. But I'm so glad that I did. Cuginis pizza is a step up from most other pizza places around that I tried. For starters I tried the Buffalo chicken pizza and the grandma pizza. Buffalo pizza had all the right ingredients and very tasty Buffalo chicken. I had to give the grandma slice a try even though there's a place not that faraway that was making grandma pizza since 1965. Having said that this place had delicious grandma slice and in a pinch I'll have it here instead of driving a distance for the other place. I really need to try the spaghetti and other item's and when I do I'll post it here. Fun fact that even if you order just 1 pizza slice they serve you with a ceramic plate which adds to the charm. Next up linguine bolonese or meatballs. Very friendly staff and because of the good tasting food I'm sure they'll be a success Update: I couldn't wait to try the ziti and red sauce. Just as thought simply fabulous Ziti wsd cooked just right and the spaghetti sauce was amazing. Cuginis sauce and flavor wasn't a copycat blend tasting like every other store's sauce. It's a definitely different flavor and an excellent one at that. I'm so happy now to have a really good Italian restaurant to go to without driving...

Very disappointing experience! Spaghetti and fried calamari was served without utensils. Margarita pie was never served it to us at the table. Poor communication maybe- the pie was boxed instead so we ended up just taking it home because had been waiting so long. I don’t believe they even apologized for the mix up. Thought the food wasn’t great either. The pasta sauce tasted like it came from a jar and I thought the calamari had a bad fish smell. The cheese on the margarita pie didn’t taste fresh, think it was the regular grated mozzarella. My daughter thought the regular slice was ok so maybe I’ll give that...

A month ago I went for a pizza, and it was a very different pizza. The crust was crispy, and the dough held the cheese well enough to allow you to fold it to eat.
