This is something I never thought I would write about Dani's pizza. I've been coming to Dani's for almost 10 years and I love this place. Tonight unfortunately I got treated in a way that was not only insulting but shocking. For years now the customer service in this place has been going down, and now it's in the drain: I drove up to Dani's pizza with my brother and parked in the back. There was maybe three/four groups of friends waiting and we waited in line like you normally would. After a few minutes of waiting my brother spotted a few of our friends. They ordered more pizza than they could finish, and offered the extra slices to us so we joined them. There was maybe 6 of us.
So we ate had a few laughs and two of my friends said there goodbyes and left. I asked one of the usual guys behind the bar if we may get two more slices (he looked like he didn't even want to be there, and was already in a bad mood) and he told one of two men in the front who take the orders. The man in the front who responded said that because we didn't fully wait on line we're not getting served. I thought that was kind of rude because we didn't cut, we joined our friends who had extra slices. The man behind the bar heard this and immediately had this stank look on his face and began to tell us how we're going to wait to get served because we didn't fully wait on line. His reasoning was because they have people waiting fully on line who needed to get served and that we didn't wait and simply cut the line accoedibg to him.
I was appalled by his behavior to the situation and apologized to him if we caused any inconvenience. I simply told him that we didn't mean to cut and just joined our friends. This is nothing unusual because it's something that happens at Dani's. Anyways, without giving it a second thought he began to insult me repeating to me why me and my group of friends aren't getting served and telling me to leave if I don't like it. I couldn't believe my ears. I never experienced something so rude, and unprofessional in my life. I work in retail and I've been in the food business before, the most important thing is customer service.
I couldn't believe how rude he was. All I did was wait on line, get offered pizza by my friends who were already inside, and who ordered more than they could finish, and then I ordered a few more slices. We had another slice coming and I added two more slices. And they decide to turn on a dime and treat us like we're causing trouble in their restaurant? I'm a paying customer. I paid for the slices I ate and proceeded to order more. You serve the customer according to the order they make, you don't insult the entire party and tell them to leave. On my way out the guy behind the bar asked me how to say bye in Russian, as if to mock me. I told him peace out and he replied by saying "don't come back here." Are you kidding me??? ... It's a situation that was handled poorly and which such disgust.
Dani's, where's the customer service? Where's the, customer is always right? Where do you go insulting customers? What happened to you? Dani's use to be the best place to go. Use to be!
I have witnessed poorly handled situations in the past at Dani's house of pizza. This is the first time that I was involved, and I still can't believe the lack of professionalism.
Side note: I noticed for years how they never clean there hands and handle the pizza, while at the same time handling money and cleaning the counters. It's a fact that the dirtiest thing you could touch is money. It's something that goes from one hand to another and the next hand could be as dirty as the...
Read moreAn Exasperating Experience at Danis Pizza: A Tale of Outrageous Waiting and Incongruous Priorities
Introduction: Danis Pizza, a renowned establishment supposedly dedicated to the art of pizza-making, has managed to disappoint beyond belief. A recent visit left me bewildered and appalled, as I was subjected to an arduous wait, compelled to queue for a mere slice of pizza while full pie orders were effortlessly processed around me. It is with utmost dismay that I bring forth this scathing review, recounting my harrowing experience and highlighting the glaring disregard for customer satisfaction exhibited by this establishment.
The Waiting Game: One would expect that a pizza place, especially one that prides itself on its reputation, would value the time and convenience of its patrons. Alas, this was not the case at Danis Pizza. The seemingly innocent act of ordering a single slice of pizza turned into an exercise in extreme patience. As I joined the queue, which appeared to stretch into infinity, I couldn't help but wonder if I had accidentally stumbled upon an amusement park ride rather than a place to procure sustenance.
Contradictory Priorities: What baffled me further was the clear discrepancy in priorities. While I waited indefinitely for a measly slice, the staff tirelessly processed numerous takeout orders for full pizzas with bewildering efficiency. It was as though the establishment had devised a plan to torment those seeking a single slice while indulging the larger orders that supposedly brought in greater profits. Such a blatant disregard for the economic potential of individual slice orders is unfathomable, considering the financial gain that could be derived from catering to a wider customer base.
An Insult to Italian Tradition: It is disheartening to witness an establishment claiming to honor the rich heritage of Italian cuisine deviating so drastically from the very principles upon which the tradition is built. In Italy, where pizza is regarded with reverence, no respectable pizzeria would dare subject its customers to the indignity of waiting in line for single slices. The beauty of Italian pizza culture lies in its accessibility, where a passerby can savor a quick slice and be on their way, leaving satisfied and appreciative of the culinary craftsmanship. Danis Pizza, however, has tarnished this sacred concept by fostering an atmosphere of unnecessary delays and frustrations.
A Nasty Reply Expected: Given the apparent shortcomings of Danis Pizza, it wouldn't be surprising if the owner, blinded by their own arrogance and disregard for customer concerns, responded with a nasty retort. However, it is imperative that they reflect upon the legitimate grievances expressed within this review rather than dismiss them out of hand. A true testament to a successful establishment lies in its ability to acknowledge and rectify its flaws, embracing the constructive feedback provided by dissatisfied customers.
Conclusion: Regrettably, my experience at Danis Pizza can only be described as an exercise in frustration and disappointment. The unconscionable wait for a single slice, coupled with the prioritization of full pie orders, showcases a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and a failure to capitalize on potential profit. As I bid farewell to Danis Pizza, I implore the owner to reassess their priorities, address the grievances of patrons, and strive to create an atmosphere that truly exemplifies the essence of Italian...
Read moreMy first experience to visit Dani's House Pizza was very cold and unpleasant. I have called and placed my order an hour and half before pick up. I came to pick up my pizza order 20 minutes earlier. When I asked, how much longer should I wait for pizza to be ready, the staff told me at exact time that they told me to pick up. So, i called at 8pm they told me pick up is at 9:30 pm. At 9:10pm I was asking if my order was ready. To what they told me it was not ready and I have to weight till my time. I waited until 9:40pm to finally get my order of 2 plain pizza pies. While I was waiting to get my order, I noticed that this place is super busy. Line is keep getting longer and they are minimizing the request for costumers that are waiting in line to get their pizza.
Here a few scenarios for you to get a feel of a real picture at what's going on in the restaurant during late night rush for pizza orders to make, serve and pick up. The restaurant is so small on the pizza making side, but they also have a side room where they serve clients by seating service.
Anyway, when I was present at the moment, their seating area at the pizza making side, was limited and who ever seats there they have to be served first.
Another scenario is the line to serve for pick up is keep coming and now you as a cook have to serve them as well, and keep up with orders. When people are waiting in line to get their orders, l noticed that they don't get their full orders. There was a couple who had a 7-8 year old daughter with them waiting in line to get pizza. When their's turn came on, they asked for 4 pesto slices. The cook at this point says "No, how about I give you 2 pesto slices and what other slices you like" the gentleman asked "Well, I want pesto slices" the cook just ignored him and pretended like he have to serve other people as well by pointing at the crowd. Viewing this experience I can say that he must serve the guy with what he asked for while its available. At the end he end up offering him plain slice of pizza x2. At this point I'm waiting for a new plain pie again. Because he gave away slices of my pie.
While you waiting and observing all this activities, the picture doesn't change for you to be served. So, what's the point of you getting your pie at 9pm or 9:30pm
At this point this restaurant is not looking to serve their costumers at the highest level. Because they are super busy. They are more about if it's not you then next costumer in line will be replaced by another order immediately. Not sure why the restaurant is so super busy. I personally didn't like the sauce taste of pizza and pizza itself was made not crusty enough. Basically in the hurry just to say Yes, we served you. I would recommend to the owner to get more help on the service line to serve costumers more efficiently to create pleasant, quick waiting times. And man...
