Daro's Pizza & Chicken — Restaurant in New York

They charge 3 dollars plus tax (so almost 4) for half a small bag of fries from the chicken spot up the street. When I just wanted my money back out of shock that he was just giving me that he got mad and told me to never come back again (which I will gladly never). I don’t like to complain since I work in restaurants myself but I felt stupid walking out with those fries and you shouldn’t ban someone from a store just because they want their money back like I didn’t come at him at all for him to say that I just said these fries are way too small for 3 dollars. Don’t come here and spend ridiculous amount of money for something you can get up the street for a less price and better customer service. Ohhh and not to mention they all weren’t wearing gloves.The guys here are rude and it’s worse when you don’t “look Spanish”. I bought half a Grandma and half a Margherita pizza, and the Margherita was barely acceptable at best, while the grandma was genuinely disgusting and sick to eat as there was an artificial garlic paste smeared unevenly all over the pizza. Me and my son had to remove the paste with a spoon to be able to eat it without gagging. The strawberry cheesecake was just a normal cheesecake with a super artificial strawberry jam spread on top. I also bought the French Fries with Special Cheese, and calling it cheese would be a massive compliment. The “cheese” had absolutely 0 taste and was just a nasty orange paste smeared on top, the only thing making it “special” was how unremarkably horrible it was. I had a bad experience months ago, I was a frequent customer, I ordered a pizza for delivery and when the pizza arrived there was a cockroach in the box (outside), I mentioned that it was the cockroach there, the delivery guy squashed it in the box and threw it on the floor, he took the money and he left me the pizza at my hand, my partner heard all the situation and we asked the money back, we mentioned that we weren't going to eat it. The guy with an annoyed expression gave us back the money. But what do you expect? to see more cockroaches inside the pizza to get complain? It's really a shame that they lowered the quality.
