Deli for Me — Restaurant in New York

I really am a huge fan of the owner and its regretfully I have to write this review.

I came in for a sandwich honey Turkey lettuce mustard on a half of hero. When I came home it had mayonnaise on it which I strongly hate. I politely came in showed the young man with glasses the sandwich, un eaten, informed him of his mistake. He looked at me basically thinking I would eat it. So I asked “I paid almost eight dollars for a half of sandwich do you mind making it over because I hate mayonnaise” he started to slam things and become rude and aggressive. The cashier tried to intervene to De escalate but I guess he got even more hyped up and was slamming stuff. So I asked the lady for a refund. She apologized on his behalf and explained he was making it over. This isn’t the first time an order was messed up Btw I try to flow with it because everyone makes mistakes. But Mayo is a no go for me. Due to the negative energy I just threw it out.

I use to come here when he first opened up, I’m always respectful. And lately I haven’t due to this reason. Some of his workers aren’t humble anymore. He made a mistake with the sandwich not me, idk why he was getting upset. But I do know for sure if I was a man he wouldn’t have acted like that. He cowardly took out his frustration on me because he didn’t follow instructions. There was no reason to act like that when I was respectful. I can see if I was coming at him crazy. So Because I had respect to the owner I’m taking a higher route and just writing a review.

Hey what’s up thanks for the reply. I didn’t know he didn’t do half sandwiches if I did , I would’ve asked for a whole one or something smaller. He did in fact get aggressive or else the cashier wouldn’t have gotten involved. If you don’t want to take accountability that’s ok, but don’t make me seem to be a liar. As I stated her “cowardly” was slamming things mumbling in Spanish rudely. If he did in English you would’ve heard it loud and clear. Why would the cashier apologize then? .why would I want to eat something from Someone who is remaking my food like that? That’s why he act the way he does because there is no consequences.at the end of the day he messed up the order and came at me...

very ridiculous. multiple times i've called and ordered ahead of time, and when i get there and say "i ordered on the phone" thats when they say "oh alright we are going to make it right now. its ridiculous. obviously if i call ahead of time it is because i want it to be ready once i get there. AND they can't even say oh its because its busy, no its not !! this store rarely ever has more than 2...

I’ve been here twice and they never disappoint. They recently started serving tacos and I’m pleased. It seems to be family owned, which I love. They’re always pleasant and welcoming. Food is made fresh and it tastes like it. They have some much needed items if you don’t feel like going to a large market or store. Please give them a try. Definitely a great addition to the...
