HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The employee who was making my plate was extremely rude. He kept mumbling under his breath and seemed annoyed with me for no apparent reason. When I asked for the chicken and didn’t specify he huffed and left asking me to specify. Then I apparently called it the wrong name which mocked saying they didn’t have! There was absolutely no communication. After he passed the bowl to another employee who was serving the chicken and promptly left. I wanted sriracha and the garlic aioli however the cashier quickly closed the lid and rang me up before I could ask. Because of the attitude of the previous employee I became self-conscious and didn’t speak up. I just thanked them grabbed my receipt and left. I was planning on eating in but changed my mind due to the encounter. The whole process was very rushed even though there was no body else in line before or after me. I understand that working in food service can be difficult however I don’t understand why this frustration has to be taken out on me. I was just very confused and still am 😕. This food was okay but everything had a strange plastic under taste except the Mac and cheese which was the only positive thing that came out of this whole experience. Anyways hope...

AVOID THE KALE CAESAR AT ALL COSTS Disappointing Experience at This Location

I recently visited this Dig location and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. I ordered the kale Caesar salad, but it was inedibly salty. It tasted like I was eating a whole container of salt! I was shocked and disappointed by the excessive saltiness.

The female Spanish employee who made my food at 10:50 AM was friendly, but the guy who rang me up was extremely friendly.

There were a couple of other issues that made my experience even more frustrating. The music was extremely loud, making it difficult for me to hear the employee. I would suggest lowering the music volume so that customers can communicate effectively with the staff.

Additionally, there were no labels on any of the food, which made it impossible for me to know what I was getting. I would strongly recommend considering labels on all food items to avoid confusion and ensure a better customer experience.

I've been to several other Dig locations, but this one fell far short of my expectations. The excessively salty kale Caesar, loud music, and lack of labels have ensured that I won't be returning to this...

I'am présently here right now. I usually live this place and their delicious and healthy food but I gotta say I'm shocked right now that the cauliflower just tasted like it has a freezer or refrigerator taste. Not good.

UPDATE . I went back again for a second time the week after my first review and I was even more shocked in how nasty the food tasted, I ordered the rosemary chicken breast and side veggies. The chicken tasted horrible and the entire meal didn't taste fresh. I threw out half my food and few hours later I was feeling weird. I got home and spent 24 hours of stomach problems and my gut tells me it was that chicken. I'am sadly removing this place from my favorite to go to list. I used to go there slot but since I didn't work in Manhattan for a year I stopped going. I can now see how sad this place turned to crap. They even give less food now and the vegetables don't taste fresh at all. Conclusion : more expensive, less amount per plate, less taste and the sense of freshness is gone. All the good things about this place have disappeared. Not to forget the nasty undercooked...

Dig restaurant in NYC is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon recently, and I'm so glad I did! The food here is absolutely fantastic, with a diverse range of options that cater to various tastes and dietary preferences. Not only is the food delicious, but it's also surprisingly affordable, making it a go-to spot for those looking for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. Whether you're a meat lover, vegetarian, or vegan, Dig has something for everyone, and each dish is prepared with care and attention to detail. If you're in the area and craving some delicious and affordable eats, I highly recommend giving Dig a try!

Anyone looking for something more than a golden arch experience or an evening dining with the king eating burgers and fries check out DIG. It is as close to a home cooked dinner as you can get and that is appreciated greatly. My only gripe is their portion control on certain items. I purchased a brownie and foolishly thought I would receive a decent sized treat since I paid nearly $4.00 for this brownie but what I found was jaw dropping and a little infuriating. I will say no more and show you what I found. It was delicious btw and the staff are very sweet
