EDITED: thanks for the response. Increased to 4 stars. Overall we are pleased now. The cut was REALLY GOOD and is growing out well. It just wasn’t exactly what we expected. If you are male and have a super short cut, little hair, or need to shave a beard, this place is perfect for you. Barber was very professional, and took much time to be precise and symmetrical. Those are very positive things, and this place is perfect for many people. Sadly, the negative outweighed the positive for us, in this case. The barber did not follow a clear direction. I don’t think it was the language difference. We clearly stated he should keep my son’s hair long (it was basically a llama cut), but cleaner, and he acknowledged it. But my son came out looking like a completely different person and missing the bulk of his hair. His bangs and the mop totally disappeared. It will take many months to grow out. Be careful, and consider elsewhere if you have a fashionable longer curly cut, at least not for us. Also, no cards accepted. And price was different from posted. All those things are leading to a 2 star rating. As I said, there are many positives, but I did want to highlight this experience....
Read moreI don't really know why other people are happy with the service. I called the barbershop before going in and was told that there is no line. I arrived 4 minutes after the call and there are still 2 people in front of me. I didn't really know why the barbers in the shop decides to dress like they operate in the prison. Once I got a taste of how they cut, I understood. They were very rough with their hands and did not smile even a little bit. I got one of the worst haircut for the $35. Perhaps they are not good with dealing with my type of hair, but their attitude for service is just confusing. Stone faced the entire time. Will never ever go back again. I suggest you do...
Read moreThis place is NOT universal. The service I got today was sloppy, clearly lacking knowledge about my hair type (4B), and over-priced service for a simple cut task of cutting off my sideburns. The barber was about to end the haircut without giving me a shape up (a separate cost apparently), and clearly wanted me to look messy walking out of there since he put in minimal care to cut my hair. After all was finished he had the nerve to ask me for a tip (which I unfortunately gave him) only to fix the bad fade, crooked shape up, and untrimmed sideburns myself at home. If you're a professional, you should be doing a...
