The food is not to bad, only had basic sandwich and it was well... pretty basic tasting... however I actually don't really even eat meat but when you walk in the fresh sausages and things smell very good. Everything looks fresh and definitely pricey! I would probably suggest this place to someone in the area looking for a sandwich not from a bodega or reg deli but as a rule I don't go here because the employees tend to be really not friendly. Like especially the older gentleman he is so nasty I've walked out many times and have not returned since. Like he's annoyed that customers come into a shop. The lady is very friendly and very helpful usually. I use to get all my bread and cold cuts but definitely not anymore.. I'd rather go to the supermarket where the employees are actually very helpful and friendly. Twice in the same week I went in the man hears me come in comes over to see me never acknowledges me goes back to continue doing his work and took another 4 minutes to come and serve me. I stopped into grab a sandwich for my uncle on my visit; just so happened to see this spot as i was driving pass and it looked like a really sandwich spot, not a bodega. My aunt said enjoyed the softness of the bread. My 3 star is because I did not feel welcomed when I walked in. One of, if not the best Italian deli in the Bronx serving customers for over 65 years. They make fresh deli cold cut and hot sandwiches and they have a hot food bar available and make the best sausages hands-down I’ve ever tried.
