Crosby Pizza has been a longtime favorite of mine. When I was younger me and my best friend would come here after school on a daily basis. We couldn't resist it and had absolutely no desire to eat anywhere else. It's something about the pizza here, I'm not quite sure what it is but it is by far one of the best in the area. The regular slices are my favorite - they are on the thicker side, but not too thick, with a soft crust. If you like your crust crunchy just ask them to leave yours in the oven a little longer so that it's well done. I usually get a regular slice and an order of garlic knots. If you're into more complex pizza they have several to choose from. Such as your standard chicken or sausage slices, to stuffed pizza, to sausage, pepperoni, and meatballs on one slice (another favorite of mine!) as well as a bunch of other options like assorted rolls and calzones. This is a family owned business that has been owned by the same guy for as long as I have been coming here (which is well over 15 years). The owner and staff are extremely helpful, they take your order quickly and there is never a long wait for your food. On top of being efficient they are also super friendly - a pleasure to be around! So this place is a neighborhood institution, Their pizza is phenomenal . From your basic regular slice to their specialty pizza like prosciutto and mixed greens . Outstanding , however I had one bad experience with the delivery driver and I refuse to order take out . I ordered 2 pies on a busy Friday night so understandably the pizza would take 40 mins to be delivered. However I gave specific delivery instructions and the delivery driver did not follow them , gave me a nasty attitude when he called to say he arrived, snatched the money out my hand and ran to the car to find out from my landlord that he dropped my pizzas and that's why he ran. I called and complained , I was sent replacement pizza , 30 mins later and delivered by the same driver who then asked my husband how does he put up with me .Clearly he was bitter I complained because he also conveniently forgot my soda . I will gladly go there and eat in but never again will I have...

Two years ago, I was broken up with and had a had a mental break down at Crosby Pizza. I left the place to cry alone because I didn’t want to cause a scene. I inevitably had to return because my personal belongings were still in the store. The workers and fellow customers were kind enough to cheer me up. They even offering me a free drink and a new slice of pizza. They suggested that I sit in the back room and to talk out the situation with my ex and have proper closure, even offering wise advice.
