Disappointed by Unexpected Menu Change, but Grateful for Thoughtful Service
We visited this restaurant based on my brother-in-law’s enthusiastic recommendation for their trifongo and Latin cuisine. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we discovered that the menu—and the entire culinary focus—had shifted to Italian fare. While we do enjoy Italian food, we were genuinely looking forward to a Latin dining experience, so the change was a letdown.
The prices were on the higher side, and the food quality was average. My husband and brother-in-law ordered the ribeye special but were served New York strips instead. Both steaks were requested medium, but arrived well done. Given the abundance of Italian restaurants in the area, it’s disappointing to see a place once known for standout Latin dishes pivot away from that identity—especially when the Spanish-style décor remains, adding to the confusion.
That said, I want to sincerely thank the staff working that evening. They were kind and accommodating, especially toward our niece and nephew, offering them fresh fruit when the menu didn’t include kid-friendly options. Their thoughtfulness was appreciated.
Unfortunately, due to the unexpected change in cuisine and overall experience, we won’t...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining here and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and elegant, creating the perfect setting for a great evening.
The food was absolutely fantastic—we had the almejas and empanadas for appetizers. The mofongo with pork for dish and was packed with flavor and beautifully presented.
The drinks were equally impressive, expertly crafted and refreshing. A special shoutout to Denise, the bartender, who is truly a master of her craft. Her attention to detail and warm, friendly demeanor made the experience even more memorable.
The service was impeccable—a true 10/10. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care about ensuring we had a great time.
If you’re looking for a place where everything—from the food and drinks to the atmosphere and service—is top-notch, I highly recommend Rosa Blanca It’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and...
Read moreHappy Hour menu is not advertised unless asked which was from 4-7 (beer, margaritas only) with no food options available. JUMBO chicken wings are anything but & barely included drums. Sandwiches/Burgers are over priced and does not come with a side which is close to an additional $7. Ordered an entrée which states (2) Pork Chops and only received one & when inquired with the owner was told that the chop was double cut which mafe no sense to me as to what that has to do with the second chop not received. Owner though very friendly is too focused on trying to focus on fixing the image of what used to be Jimmy Ryan's with high end cuisine with Manhattan prices. Bartending was ok despite what reviews claim to be and this was only after 7pm when there was actually a dedicated bartender. Place was empty & the owner was doing everything but cooking the food b/w the...
