I placed my order in at 3:25pm, with the expectation that the order would be out for delivery at 5:00pm. I had the tracker up on my computer, and the first update was at 4:30pm, when the pizza was being prepped. At 5:05pm, there was still no further update, so I decided to call the restaurant, to see if I could get an update on the order status. When I called, I was asked if I could hold for a minute, which I was happy to do. I was then on hold for eight minutes. While on hold, the tracker finally updated from the prep to bake status at 5:07pm. It then was updated from the bake to quality check status at 5:12pm. When I finally got on the phone with someone, I had mentioned that the status of the order had been updated while I was on the phone, but I asked for a reason why it was so delayed. The person on the phone would not provide me with a direct answer, instead saying “we have your order, do you have any other questions.” I tried to ask more questions, but was cut off and told the same line from before: “we have your order, do you have any other questions.” Finally, I caved and just said no, and the person on the other end of the line hung up without saying anything else. As I have ordered from this location previously without incident, I was shocked at how awful the customer service was for this particular order. I understand that it is snowing, and that they might be backed up, but I was not happy with the lack of response or apology when I was simply asking for an update on my order. I waited another 35 minutes, without the status of my pizza order changing, so I decided to call the restaurant again. I was placed on hold immediately. While on hold, the order finally changed from “quality check” to “out for delivery” at 5:50pm. After six minutes on hold, I decided to hang up the phone, because I knew the delivery person would be arriving shortly, and wanted to make sure I didn’t miss them buzzing my apartment, since I am at this point starving. The pizza finally arrived at my apartment at 6:04pm. I’ve never had an experience from Domino’s like this ever, and I might have to reconsider where I order pizza from...
Read moreThis particular Domino’s in my opinion Is a top performer in the chain and is a must for you to add to your regular take out/!delivery options. I’ve experienced dozens of Domino’s Locations in my time. Ive had good ones and a handful of bad ones. Here at the 181st St store , The food is always fresh and delicious. It’s been delivered piping hot to me every single time ( I’ve ordered from this store more than 20 times ). A great delivery team makes it a Pleasure to receive. And to top it off, this location has done what other businesses often strive to do but rarely can they pull it off. 181st promotes True Customer Appreciation. Dominos is a huge franchise yet 181 has to pick me to randomly with no reason other than gratitude for my business; they have sent an extra pizza added on to my order just as a thank you for being a loyal customer. All i could say was Wow! I recommend this particular Dominos location to my family and friends and i highly recommend...
Read moreCustomer service in the store is horrible. Unbeknownst to them I am Latina, speak spanish and everything. When we entered only one person was behind the register. I ordered then observed. I noticed he was lost when preparing pizzas. It seemed as if he recently started working in the store. Afterwards, manager and 3 others came out from the back. At that point he was provided guidance. I checked out, went closely to enjoy. As I went to taste the sauce on the Wings it was not what I had ordered. The young man put the wrong sauce on my Wings. I went back in the store and I was told by him and his manager that I had to purchase a new order. I didn't think that was fair as it wasn't my error. The manager told his employee, in spanish, that he needs to be more careful next time. Horrible, I can only imagine how they talk about the people in the neighborhood (predominantly...
