The food was not good at all. I ordered nachos and there was nothing but a purée of beans on my plate. I asked to see a drink menu and she handed me a piece of paper with drinks and prices written on it very unprofessionally. We got our food before the drinks. We waited forever for the drinks. I ordered margaritas and the drinks were horrible. I had a strawberry margarita and it was purely juice and it wasn’t even tequila. It was one of this strawberritas you buy in the bodega. The bud light ones I believe. My friend ordered a regular and it was literally a high blood pressure drink with lots of salt and again not tequila. I ordered my son chicken nuggets and fries and it tasted like refrigerator. My server kept disappearing to the back. I did not have a good experience at all. I’m hundred percent sure they have people writing good reviews for them. For a “great” restaurant, they were pretty empty....

I’ve went to this location twice in one week and here’s my take: Pros: The chips and salsa are full of robust flavor and pizzazz- best I’ve ever had! I also had the enchiladas con bisteak en salsa verde which is an entre of 4 enchiladas filled with steak, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla topped with Mexican cheese, iceberg lettuce, and hass avocado and a side of yellow rice and black beans - presentation was lovely.

Cons: They are only selling beers at the moment until the liquor license has been taken care if within two months (aporox August 2018).

Nevertheless, 100% authenticity with amazing hospitality from staff. I will be going back to try more dishes...

Great location. Waitress was friendly but was always in the back hiding for some reason, had steak nachos and the meat tasted terrible, order some nuggets and fries and the nuggets tasted like that were straight out of the freezer. Tried ordering a frozen margarita and should have known better because she brought the drink menu out written on a napkin, drink came out tasting like pure salt and no liquer. Thankfully the price point was ok. I reccomend the look at some youtube videos and at least learn how to make drink and work on the food more and have the waitress stay in the lobby, ran out of water twice and had to wait for her to magically appear...

AMAZING FOOD AT A GREAT PRICE ! We came on a Sunday so it wasn’t overly packed (3-4 groups at a time during our visit). They have a very attentive staff who made sure we were comfortable. They start you off with complementary tortillas with salsa. We started off with elotes then carne asada tacos & the Molcajete con sabor a Mexico. They were all amazing in taste, we recommend the Molcajete if ur going as a pair. We got margaritas (they do on the rocks) and it was one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had! If ur going to tip bring cash! They’re system doesn’t have a tipping system

I love this place. It’s really nice inside. For reference, we got pescado a la diabla, pechuga de pollo asada & two margaritas. For the margaritas, you can choose either tajin or not. They also have different flavors to choose from. Both plates already comes with yellow rice and beans. The tortillas came in it’s separate plate which you’ll see in the picture. Last but not least, we had dessert which I think it’s about $5 or $6. It’s really nice, you should try it out whenever you are in the area.
