8 years ago my girlfriend and I stumbled upon this little hole in the wall while in a hangry stupor, and ended up having what we thought was some of the best pizza & garlic knots we’ve ever had. We left with fully bellies and our hangriness sated, but we didn’t even think to make a note of the name of the restaurant, or honestly, where we even were. It was our first time visiting NYC and we weren’t very familiar with the area, so we thought we’d never see it again.

Fast forward to today: were in NYC celebrating our honeymoon. Today, we’re walking down the street, in search of gelato, and lo and behold, by complete happenstance we stumbled upon this restaurant, again!! So we stopped in and decided to get another order of garlic knots.

Now I’m not going to lie, I was a little nervous that they weren’t going to hold up to the expectations that I had built up in my brain over all these years. Was the food actually as good as I remembered, or was the combination of extreme hunger, and frankly a shotty memory, making me think it was better than it actually was? I’m happy to say that the anxiousness was unwarranted, as the food as just as delicious as I remember (and affordable AF).

Sep 15 2018 me and my co-worker went to Don flippo pizza . We order pizza the employe behavior are very rude and nesty .we don’t finish our food employee said he need to clean the table we need to finish hurry they keep looking when we finish. They charge extra. I order pizza and beef petty . After finish I have pain in stomach. I promise my self and my co-worker we don’t this place any more. One thing is most important. Don flipppo pizza restaurant employee behavior and attitude is very nesty not being respectful. So there pizza is not good they don’t make well cook.so if u go this think about it befor . I believe Don flipppo pizza place is worst dirty so conjusted and employee touch the food without gloves is so Discusting I saw that very clearly. Don’t go this place and don’t even to bring the family and children to Don flipppo pizza place . Again Don flipppo pizza restaurant is worst and Discusting and dirty plane in manhattan. So be...

We were nearby at the Metropolitan Museum and wanted a quick bite. This was one of the results and had great reviews.

Unfortunately, this just didn’t live up to the expectations that we had.

First of all, they refused to tell us the prices of their slices. We saw they were advertising a $6.30 deal for 2 slices and a soda. I asked what slices were included and they told us all of them. This made sense as their website clearly states that all their slices are between $3-4.

We grabbed a margarita slice and a white slice. The pizzas were quite old and hard. Even the oven they through them in didn’t help at all!

Unfortunately it was very unsatisfying, but the worse part came when they gave us a bill. They charged us $5.50 per slice! I mentioned their deal they had stated before and they said that it didn’t apply now. This was unacceptable however we paid our bill and left.
