Overview: An ABSOLUTE FLIP from the original Deluca. Great food, respectful service, clean and classy atmosphere for a decent price. I 100% recommend this place for a date/family night.

As a Staten Islander, there is an overgrowth of Trattorias and Ristorantes here. And having Panini Grill, an old neighborhood favorite next door is hard to sit next to.

Headcount: 2 Time and Day: Wednesday, Dinner Food: Octopus Chicken Francese Branzino Pistachio Tartufo Pistachio Gelato Gnocchi Sorrentino The Spicy Goumada - Cocktail

Price: +++ MORE affordable than Panini Grill. The prices are either the same or less.

Food: ++ Taste - Food was delicious! Ingredients tasted fresh. My partner commented on the Gnocchi and described them as "Little pillows of delicious goodness"

Presentation - Decent presentation, for the price; no overbearing flowers and garnish

Portion - was large, about a 1 1/2 - 2 meals worth. (Nice take home leftover)

Cocktail: ++ The Spicy Goumada I'm a big fan of cocktails (especially spicy/sweet) and look at the presentation and balance in flavor.

Taste - So good! My eyes lit up with The Spicy Goumada and I loved the taste and I got a decent buzz. I had to order two

Presentation - I feel that presentation can be better; it had the typical 'spicy cocktail' look, but for the price, its perfect. I will update as I try more

Service: ++ Overall: The staff were very respectful, attentive, and knowledgeable. Food delivery time seemed a little longer than what I would expect from two dishes. They also made a mistake with giving the wrong receipt. *NOTE: I believe that the staff were extremely well trained and great at what they do. However, I noticed that the waiters seemed to be overwhelmed (because they were DEFINATELY not standing still). I personally think the owner needs to keep that in mind or provide support to increase efficiency because this will lead into small mistakes that will put them behind.

Atmosphere: +++ Bathroom was clean Bar was well organized and clean, ample seating for casual happy hour Lighting was well placed, not bright as hell, not dim as a dungeon. Seating areas were roomy and tables were stable I like the decor style, it felt very classy, clean, and roomy with a minimalist look (although I felt the chandeliers were out of place but that's not a...

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had eating at a restaurant on Valentines day. The waitress kept bringing out our food late, okay fine, I can keep waiting. I’m not one to complain but of course, it was frustrating. When dessert time came, we waited 30 minutes, we grabbed the waitress who said “oh no I’m so sorry I forgot to tell you they don’t have the gelato flavor what other flavor do you want?” My husband decided on a new flavor, fine. We waited again. Another 20 minutes passes, the food comes out and goes to the wrong table…. The couple it went to laughed about it obnoxiously in our face and said “we know the manager. Your food is really good you should let the waiter know they need to reorder it haha” Absolutely horrible experience. Do yourself a favor and spend your money at a restaurant that actually cares about their customers. The food was meh, the customer service was horrible. If you’re the owner/manager and reading this, you may want to be mindful which “friends” you have visit your restaurant. You lost my family as customers and I think this was an experience that I will be sharing for years to come Waste of my time and my money… there are plenty of great Italian spots in NYC / the island. I will not be upset knowing I will never be back. If you’re someone who works hard for your money, look...

My family and I came here, and I absolutely love this spot. Rob did an amazing job creating a 2nd restaurant. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful and I loved the decor.

The menu had a lot to offer and was all set at great prices.

On the table, the waiter brought out garlic knots and fochina bread . It came with olive oil that had olives and garlic in it and, of course, butter. It was very tasty and delicious.

This is what we ordered :

Calamari : Very fresh and delicious

Cheese Pizza: Great size pizza to share it . We decided to get the 12 ', and it came with 6 slices.

Chicken Francese: Great size , the chicken was very tasty . It came with roasted potatoes and vegetables. I wasn't able to finish it.

Overall, everything was great, and I highly recommend coming here and checking them out. I can't wait to come...

I was a little reluctant to try due to previous reviews but I'm glad we did. We came here around 615 on a Saturday, we had reservations but not too crowded. It did get crowded as evening went on. Service was great, waiter was personable. Food was delicious, one gues ordered the special pistachio lambchops and Sue commented how amazing they were. A happy birthday song for desert and some yummy deserts. The menu had some typical Staten Island items, shrimp scampi, pizza, chicken parm etc but then also had a tuna app special, lamb chops, pork chops, calzones, and hamburgers which 2 guest commented were delicious!!! It definitely is a must try, everyone left full and happy with their meals. Pricing is typical for the times, drinks were good and not watered down, friendly staff. We will be back.

I’ve always heard Staten Island is the best of NYC when it comes to Italian cuisine, and Don Roberto must be one of the reasons why it holds that title. The wine, appetizers, and main course were all excellent. They brought bread and olive oil to the table, and I could have eaten an entire loaf with that olive oil blend—it even had real olives in it. There’s definitely a Nonna in the kitchen making magic. The service was incredible; the staff was attentive to every table without ever feeling rushed. This is a great spot for couples, groups, and families alike. To top it all off, we’re staying in Manhattan and discovered the ferry from Lower Manhattan to Staten Island is free. The trip was absolutely worth it
