Double's Bar Restaurant on Halsey Street in Bushwick is an absolute standout, and it's quickly become one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with an inviting atmosphere that's both stylish and unpretentious – perfect for a casual drink, a delicious meal, or a fun night out with friends.

Let's talk about the food. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a fantastic selection of dishes that are both creative and comforting. Every single thing I've tried has been exceptional, from their perfectly cooked burgers to their inventive small plates. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and the kitchen clearly takes pride in every dish they send out. Stopped in with a friend to grab a quick bite. Unfortunately we were there too early as the kitchen doesn’t open until 5:00 p.m. but luckily that didn’t stop us for staying for some drinks. The atmosphere is comfy cozy with folks from all walks of life. You can actually have a conversation without yelling at the top of your lungs. Drinks were great and the service was beyond exceptional. Shout out to Tem, bartender/hostess with mostest. She was personable while remaining professional and super attentive with our drinks preferences while suggesting things for us to try and providing background on the bar itself. I've been once and can't wait to go back! As soon as I walked in the atmosphere felt elevated, refined, and sophisticated while also feeling extremely cozy and comfortable. The bar is really spacious as well, so it's perfect for going with lots of friends or attending one of their many events! The cocktails were spot on!
