I have tried giving this location chance after chance with my repeated visits because everyone needs a chance to correct his or her mistakes. Life is challenging at times.
However, coffee in-service/training needs to be provided to the staff at this location on how to NOT make or serve watery coffee. Regardless of the coffee is hot or iced coffee, the coffee is always watery. There should be no reason a fresh pot of hot coffee or any coffee should taste like an old filter watered down coffee.
The only coffee that would be liked at this location (sweet tooth lovers), is the sugary coffee served with all that extra foam sugar and various syrup flavors. But the coffee drinking and tasting experience are not presented. Coffee should taste like coffee.
The staff, on the other hand, are pleasant, truth, on all tours. I have visited the store on various tours trying out the coffee, donuts, and observing the staff, they are very nice.
Sidenote, to management, if the donuts can NOT be squeezed (not soft or squishy) please remove them from the shelf, please stop selling us hard donuts. I have noticed if the donuts are on the shelf in this location after 330pm, they are hard.
Overall, I give the coffee a double zero in stars, the staff four stars (not five stars because the product served is awful). The donuts and other bakery items three stars ( sometimes the donuts and other bakery items are good).
The store also serves as a BP gas station and sells a variety of beverages, lotto games, and sugary items.
Again, I waited over a year before I shared my thoughts and experience on listing about this establishment. I spoke with management and frontline staff about the issues on each tour, allowing for improvements, but nothing changed. Now I have shared my thoughts...
Read moreThis Dunkin Donuts is a pit stop inside the large bodegaesque gas station on the corner of Moshula Parkway and Jerome Ave. Unlike other Dunkin Donuts that are spread along America's highways this Dunkin Donuts is a sweet little store. It's within the gas station's store; if you don't look to your left when you walk in you might miss it. Grab and Go style, I stopped by for some gas and grabbed a hot chocolate at DD before I hopped on the highway for a 1 hour+ drive back to Connecticut. You can gas up and grab a sweet snack (donuts, d'oh!) or a breakfast treat like bagels or an egg sandwich. Lots if choices and the coffee is fantastic. Customer service is always very polite; will accommodate your needs and desires. It's in a great location: before you hit the heavy traffic of The Concourse or Jerome Ave or before you hop on the highway. There's a clean bathroom but it's shared by the gas station customers. Not a problem as most DD don't have bathrooms; I consider it a good thing. Not sure about wheelchair accessibility. Prices are average DD prices, a little higher than others because 1. It's NYC and this DD is strategically placed where there are no other places to get a small breakfast, donuts or hot drinks... with parking. The only thing I don't like about Dunkin Donuts... and this goes for all Dunkin Donuts.... is they never have a large enough herbal tea selection. I don't drink caffeine. I bring my own tea bags with me. Dunkin Donuts has never been able to get just the right amount of sugar and milk in my tea. Sometimes I just get a cup of hot water and do it myself. But that's a me problem not DD's problem. It's a nice little DD at...
Read moreI wouldn't trust the pick-up orders. The first time I remember ordering like that, something was off. Second time, I ordered the simple 2 for $4 bagels and lemme tell you if I wasn't sadly starving already, that junk was inedible. Burnt almost to a crisp, like they forgot it was in the toaster and still used it. Thankfully I snapped some pictures because what even is that? If I wasn't already halfway to my destination I would've went back like what even is this? Here, you try eating it! I assume it's because they don't have to see the person who ordered so screw whatever they ordered. Aside from that it's cool they're open 24 hours although I went once and nobody was there, I guess the person before didn't want to wait for the next person who probably came late if not a no-call no-show for...
