El Diablito Taqueria 2 — Restaurant in New York

Worse customer service ever. Ordered take out from this restaurant. I asked for birria taco and birria burrito among other things. However, when I ordered I specified I wanted extra of the brown colored sauce you dip the birria tacos in for the taco and burrito. The woman on the phone said okay I will send an extra one, three in total. When my order was finally delivered I opened the bag to find not a single of the right thing was sent. I was given an 2 orange colored sauces and 2 green sauces. When I called back I was informed the “brown sauce” or consommé is only given with the three tacos and only in the restaurant by the same woman. She went on to inform me the “brown sauce” is a consommé not a sauce and that she sent sauces and I said none of which are the ones that come with a birria taco like every where else. I was also told they would not be making it right. After they made me pay for my food in cash and would not accept card and after I tipped the delivery girl (who was really nice) a 20% tip. Makes sense now why they only would accept cash. Would have ordered from somewhere else that would have brought the appropriate sauce/consommé. The only reason I spent the extra for the birria was for the dipping and wouldn’t have spent the extra. And the fact they would not rectify their mistake is odd. I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Diabilto Taqueria 2, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to! From the moment we walked in, the warm and vibrant atmosphere made us feel right at home. The decor was colorful and festive, creating the perfect setting for an authentic experience.

The food was absolutely incredible! We started with fresh-made guacamole and chips, which were perfectly crispy and lightly salted. For the main course, I had the chicken bowl, and the flavors were out of this world—tender, well-seasoned, and served with delicious homemade tortillas.

Great addition to newkirk plaza!!!

Offers free chips and salsa when dining in. The three salsas they offer are spicy and taste homemade. The horchata is made in batches. I watched then pour the batches. You can get a whole quart for $7. We got their special (3 tacos for $10). Great deal. This is the 2nd location to the original diablito location in Manhattan. I have been to the first one and that was great. I didnt realize until I read about this location. Now it makes sense as the flavors are similar.
