I've never been to Mexico but coming here always makes me feel like I've been to Mexico and eaten REAL AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD EVERY TIME.
Every bite of food is packed with flavor and you can tell was prepared and served with love. From the black bean base and incredible flavors from the CHICKEN HUARACHE to the incredibly soft yet amazing flavors of EVERY AUTHENTIC TACO,
I would definitely recommend for people who want real Mexican food and not Mexican American food.
Service is excellent with chips and guacamole sauce served before every meal. The sauces with the huaraches, either mild or spicy bring out even more flavor to every bite. The double tortilla freshly made corn tacos or just given so much love. You have to try them!
Recommend; Chicken Huarache and chicken , empanada and Carne a la parrilla taco.
The people here and ambiance even make me feel like wanting to go Mexico because they are all warm, inviting and respectful.
The ambiance and decor scream warm Mexican feel. It could be a bit more modern but over time I would believe they will improve.
OH and the prices are really affordable and not stressful to enjoy your food at all. 100% worth it.

Read moreThis place feels more like a take out resturant. There are some things to be desired about the decor, but food is most important right?! We didnt have much expectations. We ordered guacamole, tacos al Pastor, El huraches special, and quesadillas. The guacamole was really tasty, good amount of avocado flavor with a hint of spice. They didn't give enough chips for a large sized order. We asked for more chips. When our drinks came we got bottles of water. We thought we would get tap water but they informed us, we don't serve tap water because we don't have filtered water in the back. Never been to a place that water isnt free for dine in. The El huraches dish was overwhelming with onions and the meat was chewy and fatty, I think it was beef. The quesadillas had a thick outer layer, it was bland not too much flavor. The tacos were bland as well. We were happy with the guac but mostly disappointed with the rest of our experience. We probably will not...
Read moreHungry looking around for a place not too pricey to have a quick made me come across this little Mexican restaurant. Nice atmosphere with Banda music which is classic to Mexican restaurants (I don't mind it as long as it's not too loud) Our waiter was a kind gentleman. He could've been a tad more attentive in refilling chips or just give updates from the kitchen but, I'm not really bothered. Food was delicious it just took a good minute for us to get it. Things to note: no parking, they charge extra for paying with a card. Overall, I will probably come back. Just because new York is too large to explore. You really need to make a good impression to have repeat customers without seeing other...
