Beware when ordering from here, they have a hard time keeping track of orders. They forgot about my order and when I called in to ask about it as I had waited over an hour, I could hear her ask someone in the back if it had gone out already. Then there was commotion where a lot of talk went on, I assume they were trying to figure out where my order was and what to tell me. Then they told me that they were out of the items I wanted (apparently both items are out when she originally thought the order was already completed. I had also told her what my order was at the beginning so wouldn't she know if those items were out of stock?) She then said they tried to call me, which is a complete lie because my phone was near me at all times and I received no calls. If she couldn't contact me, she could've also contacted seamless since I had ordered from the app. They didn't want to complete the order because it was already closing time at this point. I'm so upset about the money I just spent in there, in a way it's my fault because it can be very hit or miss with them. Today 11-22-2023 literally A DAY BEFORE Thanksgiving I stopped in there to pick up "three trays of food" because who's cooking tonight? I was surprised my total was $32.00 especially for the small trays I just ordered, as there are other Dominican restaurants in area that have specific prices for the "lunch tray" as I could've understood if I purchased the large tray. When I arrived home & took the food out the bag I was instantly angry. The two beef stew orders had POUNDS of rice inside with FOUR LITTLE PIECES OF BEEF AND TWO TINY PIECES OF CARROT, THE SECOND BEEF STEW TRAY HAD EVEN LESS! THE other tray is Pernil which looks like it needed to be cooked longer! WHEN I TELL YOU IM SO MAD THAT IT WAS ALMOST $40 for happy meals & undercooked meat. I'm HOT! So angry! Honestly? They get 2 stars because the food was good, but if you have limited time DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! They were almost 40 minutes late with my order and did not even bother to call to notify. My lunch hour was over by the time they showed up, so I was barely able to eat. When the delivery man shows up he calls, and blurts out "DELIVERY". I was not about to go downstairs to get my food after that long wait and especially since my lunch hour was officially over. So I pointed out to him that, as per my order, I am in room number 203. He hangs up and shows up to deliver the food without any apology for the delay. I do not think I will ever order from this place again. There is a lot of room for improvement in their customer...
