*Support Black-Owned Businesses* I have been putting off jumping back into working out since I have left the military. As a disabled veteran, it can be difficult to motivate myself to get into the things like exercise, etc. Last week I decided to go all in and I purchased the Vibranium membership (20 classes & 2 Guest Passes/mo) and went to my first class on Mar 10. As of Mar 15 I had only not gone one day (rest is important)! When you enter Harlem Cycle, you walk right into a cozy waiting area and shop that has water bottles, Beyonce-themed candles, healthy snacks, and more! The staff are incredibly kind and make a great effort to remember who you are. All of the items for sale are incredibly reasonable in price for the quality that you get. The workouts take you to the club, if the club happens to be up some very steep hills. I have now had 4 different people's classes and each one brings its own vibe, but that vibe is always a bop. As someone who /hates/ going to the gym because of the monotony, I really enjoy that I can get lost in the music and vibe while getting enthusiastic encouragement to push myself. Another nice thing is that there is no skill level requirement. The staff will help you set up your bike, and will constantly encourage you to listen to your body on how hard to push yourself. If you were wondering if you should give it a go, this is an excellent place to get your feet wet. I'm hooked and will likely be going 5x a week for the foreseeable future!

I have been going to Harlem Cycle for the past 2 years and it has become a part of my physical and mental wellbeing!! 🚴‍♀️✨ Tammeca has built an incredible wellness community in Harlem that's incredibly motivating, energetic, and FUN! Every instructor and staff member makes you feel like a part of a community. ❤️ I even had the pleasure of experiencing the magic firsthand at their Costa Rica retreat last year – truly an unforgettable experience! Special shoutout to some of the amazing instructors — BROYNY: Her playlists are 🔥🔥🔥 and she adds so much variety to the workouts! TEELA B: She constantly encourages you by reminding you that “you are a warrior”…I feel like I can kick down a brick wall after her class💪 DEREK: He always takes you on a journey in his classes with his positive energy, challenging classes, and great playlists! The themed classes are always my favorite to spice up the week (i.e. Beyonce class, west vs east coast, soulful sundays, etc). Highly recommend this black owned business! 🤎🤎

This review is long overdue! I've been going to classes at Harlem Cycle since February of this year and love them because the instructors are so friendly and engaging! The instructors also remember you and your progress, which I find very motivating! I appreciate the variety of classes they offer such as combined classes with cycling and weights! I'd say my favorite class is Harlem Sculpt because it’s primarily focused on lifting weights. I’ve found the instructors are very mindful of their students and are happy to help you improve your form and make modifications to exercises when necessary! The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes me look forward to coming to class! Lastly, I love that they organize community events like bike rides and the fall hike!

I was intimidated by spin studios until I found Harlem Cycle. Tameeka and all the staff are so welcoming and encouraging to everyone—regardless of ability level, shape, size, age, color, etc.

At the beginning of class, the teachers always take the time to check in and make sure you are set up correctly. The studio is small, intimate, and populated with Harlemites. It’s awesome to see so many of your neighbors at all levels carving out some time for themselves—it’s honestly one of the best parts of going to class. During class, you are encouraged to push yourself, and give it your all, but at your level. I never felt like I was out of my element in class. The music in class is fun—ranging from 90s hip hop to Beyoncé, to Justin Timberlake to Missy Elliot. You get a complementary piece of fruit and bottle of water with every visit. I have been going almost every week for the past seven months and I already feel healthier, less stressed, and stronger. I highly recommend...
