Felice 83 is one of the best restaurants on the UES — the kind of place that keeps you coming back not just for the food, but for the warmth and hospitality that makes you feel like family.

The entire team is exceptional, but a special shoutout must go to Sas, the manager, who goes above and beyond to make me and my daughter feel welcome. Whether you're dining with friends, on a date, or bringing children along, the staff here takes incredible care of everyone — always gracious, accommodating, and kind.

The food is consistently excellent and authentically Italian, and the ingredients are very high quality. Some of our favorite dishes include the Bruschetta, Carciofi e Calamari Fritti, and the Tricolore salad — wild chicory, avocado, buffalo mozzarella. The Milanese is always excellent, and all the pasta is very good — the half order of fusilli al pomodoro is perfect for kids (and adults too) and beautifully prepared. The weekend brunch is also wonderful.

Felice is part of the Sant Ambroeus Hospitality Group, and you can really feel the caliber of service and quality that comes with that. It’s rare to find a restaurant that strikes a perfect balance between elevated food + wine and a relaxing, cozy and comfortable dining experience. Sas (Manager), Mariana (GM), all the great servers and the team embody what hospitality is all about — and that’s what makes this...

I love Felice for its classy vibe and consistently great food. The lighting is always perfect, setting just the right mood. Stepping inside feels like traveling back to the ’90s—the space exudes a timeless elegance, effortlessly sophisticated yet unpretentious. It’s like a poised, mid-aged woman who has seen it all—sitting quietly, sipping her drink, making no effort to demand attention, yet impossible to ignore.

The staff here are warm and attentive, checking in frequently to ensure everything is just right. As for the food—it’s incredible. I’ve been here three times, and each visit, I’ve ordered the ricotta crostini without hesitation. The rich, creamy ricotta pairs beautifully with honey, figs, and crispy almonds, creating a perfect balance of texture and flavor. It’s a must-try.

The entrées never disappoint. I’ve had the chicken, branzino, and pasta, and each dish surprised my palate with unexpected twists. I love how the chefs infuse creativity into classic dishes, making every bite exciting.

Despite its popularity, Felice never feels overwhelmingly crowded, which adds to its charm. That’s why I keep coming back. This is my go-to spot when I want to sit back, relax, and enjoy a great meal in a...

Went in on a Sunday early afternoon for brunch. It was kinda full outside but a lot of open tables inside. I had the hamburger but wish I got something off the brunch menu, like the pancakes, french toast, or the polenta . The fries were delicious and although the burger looked great and was juicy, the flavors were kind of off. I would normally give a place another try if the food wasn't to my taste at the time (especially italian because I usually love everything) but the 2 stars are because the service was horrible. I sat down and we waited and waited to order, no one came. We finally stopped someone and asked them to take our order. I had ordered the clementine soda and when I asked for another, they took so long that i almost thought they forgot but then the waiter finally returned to say they didnt have anymore. They cleared our plates and asked if we wanted dessert and we said no but instead of bringing us the check, we just sat there again for a long time before we had to flag down the waiter again to get us the check. Having to flag down service multiple times is enough for me not to...

Walked in to Felice 83rd and was surprised with a restaurant week dinner so gave it a try, and overall, the experience was mixed. The fettuccine bolognese was outstanding – the pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce was rich and flavorful. We paired our meal with a glass of Vermentino & Cabernet wine, alongside Amalfi /Senti off the cocktail menu 👌🏻. The ambiance was very dark and homey, with nice leather padding on the wooden chairs, creating a dark, atmospheric, and intimate vibe that I tend to enjoy. However, the chicken Milanese and Cacio e Pepe were somewhat disappointing. The chicken Milanese felt too simple/flavorless and lacked the expected flair. The cacio e pepe was watery and lacked the robust black pepper flavor, tasting more like a thin, starchy pasta water with some cream. Desserts were a mixed bag as well. The tiramisu was delightful, perfectly balanced, and highly recommended. On the other hand, the cocoa and almond lava cake, served with vanilla gelato, was a bit dry.
