Fresh Tortillas — Restaurant in New York

This little place will fool you if you judge it based on appearances' sake. I've been ordering from this place for 10-plus years. The food here is some of the best I've ever had. I dont know what they do to their chicken, steak, and shrimp, but however they marinade it and prepare it is astounding. So unexpectedly delicious. And their prices are fantastic as well. I'm about to place another order with them as we speak, and thought that I'd give them a plug while I do it. You will not be disappointed. It's great comfort food, too. And two of my closest friends, vegetarians who try to stay as vegan as possible, love ordering from here. There's something for everyone.

There are a few of these kinds of places around here and they all tend to be good, but this one is my favourite so far. And that's saying a lot, because I'd gladly eat and enjoy my meal from most every one of them.

🚫Unfortunately this place under the quality of the food. Despite the fact that their prices have risen three times in less than a year and a half. Not happy with that, food is ordered at home and the portions are poor. They raise the price and lower the portions. I understand that raising the price is fine; But why lower the quality and portions. Clients deserve respect and not that they see our faces. I have been ordering food here for over 5 years. But until today. I will never order anything here again. I let them know my comment and continue. Since last week, prices on the menu and poor portions have risen again. Two stars just because tbh.

Firstly I must say this place looks run down and they have A inspection.

Really needs a deep clean (furnitures, counters, floor) and reorganizing.

My husband didn’t even try anything.

I got a chicken hard taco which was ok. Barely any lettuce, the tomatoes was just cut and thrown onto it. I swore the “salsa” on the side was ketchup.

The jack quesadilla is a big no the cheese was basically still whole. Only cheese and tortilla.

Tasteless, rubbery it’s going to the trash and I really hate to throw food tbvh
