German Doner Kebab — Restaurant in New York

I had tried German Doner Kebab from 2 different locations and was really happy with the food and service. I found out that there was a new restaurant opened near my house and wanted to give it a try. I would say it’s really hard to find parking around the area but folks can order and pick it up. I convinced the entire family to come with me to pay a visit but right of the back, my experience was not positive at all as they ran out of Lamb around 5pm which is not acceptable. Then, I had to wait for my spring rolls to arrive after I was done eating my food In addition, it was so hot since the AC wasn’t working at all. When we acquire about the AC there was no apologies provided. My mom wanted to use the restroom immediately but since they don’t have public restroom, she wasn’t able to enjoy the food either. I would like Corporate to work on this store if they really want this restaurant to succeed. For now, I am not recommending this restaurant at all and would have given -1 if I had the option.

This place has been open for some time now, but I have never been to it. Inspired by wonderful shawerma/doner, I just ate in Vienna, I decided to eat one here. Big mistake. The first red flag was right at the entrance. The door opens right into the space where a person placing an order would normally stay. Very strange placement. The next one was the doner itself. It was literally the worst doner in my life. I ordered the beef one, but it didn't taste as beef at all. I'm not even sure what kind of meat it was, or if it was actually a meat. Very strange consistency, taste, and texture. They advertise their 3 special sauces, but it was hard to taste the difference as they all were already I inside the doner ( presumably). The only positive thing was a team working that day. At the time I came, they were very busy, but handled the situation with grace. I hope this place will hire more people for the upcoming summer season, as it will get busier by day now, as the weather starts to warm up. I guess I'm not going to find out, as I am not planning to return under any...

Absolutely the worst dining experience I've ever had. Ordered from GDK and received what can only be described as low-grade meat shoved into a box with a sad excuse for lettuce. The quality was atrocious, and it was clear no care was put into the meal.

On top of the terrible food, the customer service was abysmal. When I called to express my dissatisfaction, I was met with rude and dismissive staff who seemed completely uninterested in resolving the issue. They made no effort to apologize or offer any form of compensation.

The entire experience was deeply disappointing from start to finish. If you're looking for a meal that leaves you feeling both hungry and regretful, then by all means, order from GDK. Otherwise, save yourself the trouble and avoid this terrible restaurant...
