Update: Owner called and said he would only give me refund if I changed my review after agreeing to give us a partial refund.

I thought I had found a trustworthy laundromat that provided pick up and drop off service and would listen to my request due to their reviews and what they claim on their website.

Instead what I was faced with was being overcharged with no receipt to understand the charges and a complete lack in following my request. I had provided detergent and fabric softener for my newborn’s clothes for specific reasons and it was utterly disregarded even when I confirmed that if provided it would be used. Joseph then tried to argue that they use the same products but when you smell the fabric softener and the clothes returned to us they smell completely different. The clothes we provided him still smell like newly bought clothes from a store so at this point I believe they didn’t even wash my daughters clothes and charged us a ridiculous amount.

Don’t waste your time at this place or using their service. They’re frauds. Also Joseph likes to be very insistent rather than understanding. I was hospitalized during the initial drop off yet he pushed to drop it off because he doesn’t work Friday to Saturday which is understandable but rather than accommodate to drop off at a later date like Sunday which we were okay with he pushed to drop it off. When we brought up our complaints he insisted to pick up the clothes again and rewash it even after I expressed that I did not trust him and would like any type of refund possible. His response was that he could provide me with a discount for I would absolutely return to use his service. A very cocky response from a business owner who can’t see fault in their ways. I would just like to preface that I don’t usually write reviews, but I just had to tell you all about the amazing experience I had with Clean N’ Green Laundry!

I recently just moved to Park Slope and was looking for a fast, efficient, and trustworthy pick up and delivery laundry service as I do have a very busy schedule and laundry is just one of those things that have always taken so much time out of my day. Well, I am so so glad I was able to find Clean N’ Green Laundry Service. Joseph, the owner, was absolutely amazing. He was very professional and was super willing to pick my laundry up on the same day I inquired about their service. This was my first time ever having my laundry picked up, so I was very anxious as to how it would all come out, but Joseph reassured me that every instruction for my clothing would be followed and he did not disappoint. My laundry was delivered to me the next day in perfect condition. Everything was properly washed, folded, and sealed. Joseph also delivered my laundry in the time frame that I requested the next day. Our communication was amazing as he was very transparent about everything and was sure to update me on how my laundry was doing and the timeframe it would be finished. Not to mention, pricing was absolutely unbeatable for the quality and service I received. Needless to say, Clean N’ Green has made one of my chores so easy and affordable! I have been using this laundromat for 2 years, since we first moved into our place around the corner. I have seen the level of service here go down sharply over that period of time. First they reduced their hours - and they didn't post the changes on their website. They often close early - once my boyfriend tried to go several hours before closing time and there was just a sign on the door that said they were closed the rest of the night, no explanation. I tend to alternate between dropping off for wash and fold, and doing the laundry myself. The last several times I have needed to drop off my laundry, on a Monday or Sunday, I have been told that it wouldn't be ready to pick up until THURSDAY OR FRIDAY. How on earth is this acceptable??!! I have then had to rearrange my entire schedule and go into work late in order to do laundry, because their hours are already so bad. And - the kicker - the last time I did my laundry myself (only because they wouldn't have drop-off ready for several days), I opened the machine at the end of the cycle to discover that all my clothes were still wet and soapy. The employee said "oh did the out of order sign fall off that machine? it's not working." He came and saw that indeed the sign had fallen off and didn't even make an attempt to put a new one on. I had to warn other customers away from it the rest of the time I was there. This laundromat is the closest to me, but I am going to have to start trying ones that are further away, because the service has gotten completely ridiculous.
