Golden Pizza — Restaurant in New York

This use to be one of the best pizza joints in the area and you can clearly see it was amazing because of the line they use to always have. However, their pizza has gotten pretty inconsistent. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s horrible. Considering that their slice is $3 I expect more consistency in their value.

Don’t know where the recent positive reviews are coming from, but it’s very obvious this place has new ownership. The pizza is edible, I guess, but nothing like it used to be; Hardly any cheese and the sauce has no flavor now. All that and they charge the most for a slice anywhere. Really good pizza, and reasonable prices. There’s a reason why they outlasted the dollar pizza shop down the block from them. Menu is simple and limited. Their pizza is always consistent and tasty.
