Tbf food can be alright, but unless youâre a dude, the old ladies who are on the counter are really rude and act like they are making you a favor by selling you food. Itâs pretty obvious their change of demeanor, and honestly as a customer all I expect is to be treated with respect and fairly, specially because at the end of the day Iâm paying for each one of the items Iâm ordering, the least they can do is not be rude, stingy and ignorant. Absolutely insane. Then they canât even make up their mind about the prices, they change it as they want arguing that the hour, the day and any other dumb ass excuse to give you a different price even when the prices are on the menu and the counter.
And, wait for this, a CUP of coquito $25?!, when people sell Homemade small bottles for about $30-35, when you can easily have 3 or 4 cups out of that. Very very Ridiculous.
Honestly, I wish I could say for the food is worth it, but not even, food is alright, but save yourself the lack of respect from their staff and that they might wanna overcharge you for a soda or an item of the menu as they please. The place inside is very dark, not really family oriented, and seems âokâ with cleanliness, but its questionable, thereâs always someone yelling or fighting or some arguing between the people in the kitchen and the counter , or the counter old hags talking mad disrespectful to customers, so you canât really enjoy yourself, your company, or the food being there.
Itâs been a year since the last time I went there, and I remember now why I stopped even thinking of them...
Read moreI always do takeout but those who manage the takeout customers are scam artists. You order a meal based on the advertised price but they always add $2-3 more to the total. A prominent sign on their window says lunch special $9 from Monday-Thursday. But I have been charged $11-$12. When I asked about it once, the counter person said the lunch special is until 12 noon. Itâs no longer a lunch special during lunchtime. The poster doesnât indicate that. And this is not the only scenario, there has been more. Buyer beware! Youâve...
Read moreQue basura. The Alcapurrias tasted like Domincan Quipe; way too much garlic in the "meat", making it taste like vinegar meat. The Papa rellena too. They don't use ground beef like they're supposed too; they stuff the food with mushy meat paste đŁđ¤˘đ Their food hurt my stomach and I bought some to my Puerto Rican parents, who laughed at how bad the food was. Go to the one in Harlem but the best Cuchifrito is on...
