What 3 days in Rome🇮🇹look like : Save this for your next trip🤩 🗺WHERE TO STAY: - Trastevere (the typical Italian picturesque neighborhood and my favorite : we stayed at Chapter Roma🤌🏾) - Centro Storico (probably the most expensive but also the best location possible 💯) - Monti (to be near the Colosseum) - Prati (if you want to be near the Vatican) - Termini (the area around the train station) - Testaccio (for food lovers🍕) These are the best and most convenient places to stay during a trip to Rome! However, public transports work fine if vou don't find a place in these areas. 🏛TOP ATTRACTIONS: - Piazza Navona (my favorite square!) - Fontana di Trevi⛲️ - Spanish Steps - Trastevere (charming neighborhood, best, authentic Italian cuisine🇮🇹🍝) - Vatican⛪️ (the smallest country in the world, St. Peter's Basilica & the Sistine chapel) - Castel Sant'Angelo 🏰 - Via dei Condetti (high end shopping) - Palazzo Venezia / Roman Forum/ Capital Hill (epic views over Rome) - The Pantheon 🏛 - Colosseum 🏟: book your ticket in advance. Also head to Via Nicola Salvi to get the best photos🤩 🍕WHERE TO EAT: - Grazie y Graziella (popular corner trattoria in Trastevere) - Antica Osteria Rugatino (Trastevere) - L’antico Forno (Trevi) - Aroma (cocktail bar) - Ristoro dem Salute (Colosseum) - Pastasciutta (cheap take-away pasta in the Vatican) - Venchi (ice cream🍦) 🌅BEST SPOTS TO WATCH THE SUNSET: - Ponte Umberto (view over the river and St. Peter's Basilica) - The Colosseum - La Passeggiata del Gianicolo - The Terraza del Pincio - Il Giardino degli Aranci 🍸BEST ROOFTOP BARS: - La Grande Bellezza at Hotel Eitch Borromini (views over Piazza Navona) - Roof Garden at Bio Hotel Raphael - Cielo Terrace - Minerva Roof Garden Rome is truly THAT b***sh😅🤩. Wow! Little hidden gem in Ft Greene. No frills, cozy family environment exactly as you would expect an Italian spot to be. Drove past the other day and saw the cute sign outside and looked at the pizza and we had to go. This pizza is NO JOKE folks. FORGET Johns of Bleeker, DON’T wait in line at Lucali’s, the pizza was cooked to absolute perfection in their wood fire oven. Light, crispy, a smidgggggen of flop, and the CRUST, perfectly charred bottom and edges, best I’ve had in NY. Taste was great, maaaaybe could have used a pinch of Salt but that’s so subjective. Easily a 8.9-9.2 pizza. It’s up their with Wheated’s New Haven style pizza which is also very good, but slightly different style. Anyways, one of THE best pizza’s in NY imo. Menu (both drink and food) is very robust, so they have something for everyone no matter what your dietary restrictions are. They have your classic dishes as well as some interesting takes on classics as well. I had the smoked rigatoni vodka sauce pasta w/ spicy meatballs and it was unlike anything I’ve had in a good way. Top that off with an ice cold Peroni and that’s what I call a great night out. 100% coming back.

I live in Jersey City Heights, and my guy and I decided to have date night in BK (where he lives). I picked Graziella's because of the reviews and I want vodka sauce.

So, I drive flippin FIFTY FIVE MINUTES in rush hour WITH THESE GAS PRICES....to Graziella's .

I find parking immediately (it is 6pm at this time) and when I walk in, there are 2 professional and customer friendly hostesses standing behind the counter. You would think I was friends with them since elementary school, they were so happy to see us. I was immediately happy. One of the women tole me I am beautiful.. so we are ALREADY at a 27 out of 5 stars.

Only wamp wamp is there is only one bathroom.. the thing is - no one goes to the bathroom here, because I never had to wait for it. So.. it is not that bad.

TO THE FOOD! I got the vodka penne with seared shrimp. When I say I died, went to heaven and gave God a taste (not the whole thing, because I was hungry)!?!?! Zero exaggeration. SO FLIPPIN GOOD!!! The shrimp were plump and cooked perfectly, the penne was an excellent firmness. And the sauce?!?!?! I can't even. Ya'll.. This flippin sauce is... You know when you scratch a mosquito bite and your eyes roll in the back of your head? And you are all "Ohh....effin..yeahh?"

THAT - times a million.

Everyone is going crazy over this dish and now I see why.

That sauce is perfection. Even God was like "Even I cannot remake this." then he asked for more, and I was like "Grubhub, dude"!

The tables were bussed quickly after each course (We had the mussels in white sauce- yumm. Fennel salad which my date liked a lot, I forgot I do not like fennel, so that is my fault). Stephanie was our waitress, but all of the staff helped each other so well, we wanted and waited for NOTHING!

The pace of the entrée after the app was great. They gave us a moment to enjoy and rest before din din. They did not put food on food on food.

Kenny was managing. It was great to see him work with the crew. He was not a manager who pointed and yelled "why is this drink here and not on table 45!?!?!" He was helping the hostess, running food and when I left, he was behind the bar.

The whole vibe, the food, the customer service, the cooperation!?!?!?

SEVENTY THREE AND A HALF OUT OF 5 STARS! EVERYONE GO TO HERE! (but not when I am there, I don't like crowds)

In conclusion: I will drive an hour and half every other Thursday for date night until I go through the entire menu twice. Which will take forever because I am a Virgo and will probably order the same damn thing every time*.

*I will ask (make) my date to order something...

A Disastrous Dining Experience, Demeaning Manager

TLDR: Lackluster food, horrendous service, and a chicken dish that defied all culinary logic. The owner's attitude? Poor, abrasive, demeaning, and uncouth. If you want a headache, dine here. And if you want to know about the owner’s character, read his replies to other reviews.

I recently dined at this establishment, drawn in by its seemingly positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Let me break it down:

Pizza: Mediocre. Nothing to write home about. Service: Abysmal. Our food arrived an hour late. Chicken Dish: Imagine the worst chicken you've ever made at home--yeah, it was worse. Dry, flavorless, and utterly disappointing.

Communication Chaos: The assistant manager initially assured us that our food would be remade at no cost. But then, a sudden twist: we were informed that we'd have to pay for the replacement. So l decided not to accept the replacement, and in a silver lining, they took it off the bill and gave us some cake. But this is not the issue.

Owner Drama: The owner intervened, contradicting the assistant manager. He claimed the assistant manager couldn't have said it because of their policy. He refused to comp our meal, citing that "it's a cool place" and we should be grateful for their food. I suggested it was "miscommunication" on their end, and he retorted, "I'm out $70 because of you." He then contradicted himself, saying that it "isn't about balance sheets," but continued with the argument that if "everyone did what you did, we'd go out of business."

His communication skills were abysmal. He was demeaning to my wife and wouldn't let her finish a sentence. At one point suggesting that we should be grateful for their cake they offered. I couldn't care less about the charge; it's about calling out poor management and judgment, not seeking...

I love Graziella's. I order from here probably once a week for their incredibly delicious pizza. They really saved me during the pandemic when me and my toddler were holed up in my apartment. But this year my love grew even more. A few weeks ago, I lost my airpods case, and I could see on my phone it was near Graziella's. They fell out of my pocket when I was walking by but I didn't notice. I went back and asked inside if anyone had turned in an airpods case. They didn't have it, but one of the managers came outside and started looking around on the ground trying to help me find it. I couldn't believe it when he found it. That was a super kind and neighborly thing to do. But then again last night, I was ordering dinner for 6, a pizza margherita with pepperoni (my kids favorite), a pizza salsiccia piccante (my favorite), a chicken parm, rigatoni bolognese, a porchetta, fried calamari, 2 orders of silcian rice balls, a ceasar salad, and a rigatoni alla norma (which I'm addicted to). I decided to pick up instead of getting it delivered this time, because I had time. But I had to wait a bit for my order to be completed -- maybe 20 minutes. The wait really didn't bother me, but they comped me with a bottle of wine. So kind but unnecessary as I was enjoying my time there -- I ran into two different neighbors who were eating there and got to chat with the delivery people (realized that I knew ALL of them). As the food was being packed, it was obvious that it would be challenging for me to walk with two pizza boxes and four bags of food so they offered to drive me and food back to my house and insisted it wasn't too much trouble. The food is consistently great and was delicious, but Graziella's customer service is amazing. Thank...
