Happppyyyyyy Saturdayyyy❤️ I’m a Big Girl In a Big Ol World and this food just made my freaking night….. I walked 7 blocks in the rain snow and cold…. Upon arrival there was a dry bench right in front which was already so very welcoming of them. Thank you Boo ! As soon as I entered this Black Owned Business I was greeted from the staff and with the smell of Love in kitchen. The Family staff was extremely patient and super down to earth…. The establishment was clean it was warm TV set up high on the wall and everything… I’m definitely going to dine in next time AND GET some dessert I wanted that banana pudding soooo bad I ordered Oxtails Mac n cheese rice and peas with sweet yams ….. I wish my stomach could hold more🤣😂 $29.19 EVERYTHING was SEASONED DOWNNNN the Mac was MACIN the Oxtails were TAILING … baby the YAMS i got to the yams and THE RICE AND THE PEAS…Lord !!!!! This was by far the worst meal I have ever ate in my entire life. To be frank they should not ever offer a meal that they don’t physically have it’s no excuse as to why they run out of food and yet are open aren’t you supposed to be selling meals all day long , during business hours. I originally ordered Oxtails yet was told at 6:40 that oxtails were sold out yet I was offered Catfish which was Digusting my food came 1 hour and 30 mins later which was cold and the rice was like boxed rice from uncle bens like if you are going to sell food make it good don’t have people waiting and then offer no solution. I WILL NEVER I REPEAT NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER ORDER FROM HERE I WAS Persuaded by the false reviews of this establishment. I am totally shocked and taken back by what I just attempted to eat that I threw away the whole meal thanks for nothing greedy pot you left me Hungry and annoyed. I need my people to get their business sense together. I purchased $25 worth of food, from what they had available, not what's on the menu. And I get one napkin in a fork and spoon packet. This thin single piece of paper that tears as soon as you wipe your hands, isn't enough to sustain, curry chicken, oxtails, yams, mac and cheese... When I request extra napkins to go with this chicken curry, mac and cheese and yams. I got another fork and spoon set. Please be consistent with the food. And it would actually be nice to come in there just once for bar be cue and you actually have some. Also, do you have consistent days of the week that you're open? Every time I call there's no answer and no recorded message to let me know when you're open. That would be a nice added touch. The food that I've had was good I would just like to have something different....
