I've been coming to this coffee shop for months and love everything from the drip coffee to the iced chai to the best cortado I've ever had. You can see the care and passion that the owners have put into their shop and coffee. I'm a casual coffee drinker and I have learned so much about the coffee making process through James and Madison. I didn't realize drip coffee could taste that good!

I live about 20 blocks away and pass many cafes on the way there, but I'd rather travel that distance knowing how great the quality of coffee and community is at Sojourner's compared to a water downed drip elsewhere. The regular patrons are all friendly, too!

Support this wonderful local business! It's a place that is essential to the...

FINALLY AM AMAZING COFFEE EXPERIENCE! Found this spot right around the corner from my sisters place. We were in town over the weekend and coffee shops are a dime a dozen in the city. Often we are nervous to try a coffee spot because many look good in photos but once you arrive the espresso and drip Are disappointing.

The hubs was a barista for years and we both just want a good cup of coffee made with care for the product that journeys so far from its origins.

Sojourner was outstanding! THE best espresso I’ve had in a very long time. This place beats out even some of our fave spots back home in Austin.

Will be back on or next visit.

Give them all your money and in turn, do yourself a favor, and get some great coffee...

Sojourner has the best made coffee in all of New York and they have created a space that is truly unique. This is not your run of the mill, efficiency is key, everyone keeps to themselves type of place. Here is where you slow down, connect with others, and take time to appreciate how beautiful life is. I have literally made all of my best friends through becoming a regular here. Come for incredible coffee or come to make friends, you’ll get both while you’re here. Warning: From house made syrups, to high quality local roasted beans, everything here is carefully selected and properly made. Sojourner does not compromise on quality. All other coffee may be ruined once...

Truly one of the BEST COFFEE SHOPS in Central Harlem. All the staff and owners are lovely and welcoming. The coffee is consistently amazing and they have a great variety of beans and pastries for sale. This shop is conveniently located by the 2/3 train making it central and easy to access. This shop is also near Central Park making it a great stop for your park outing. I highly suggest you stop in and enjoy!
