Harlem Wine & Liquor Store — Local services in New York

I tried to purchase several champagne bottles for my wife’s birthday but because I’m black and have a credit card he refused to service me he assumed because he had problems before that all black people scam and don’t have good credit so they can’t have a credit card unbelievable I’ve been coming to this store for years I always spend at least a 100$ dollars every trip and now I’ve been treated like a animal disrespected and refused service I purposely put money on my credit card to build my credit with my purchases robbed denied and embarrassed I also had my id and my SS card ready I just didn’t understand I was like what do you need it was snowing so I was desperate to hurry back inside but no I had to walk blocks to a new store who will from now on be getting my money because I’m a great customer this place is disgusting for that

Hi I always go to this store I love the prices and the staff they are very professional especially the lady who works there and also the young guy who works there. They are always on point and have good customer service, but I always have problems with the one name Carlos, I think that’s his name because I have heard from the staff his name. First and last time here. I don't know what store all the other reviewers were going, but this place does not have good selection nor good prices. Did not have a basic vodka almost all retailers have. I ended up getting another brand paying $8 more than what the bottle usually sells for.
