Came in with my best friend, we were greeted as we walked towards the counter with smiles and head knob's. After placing our order I asked to use the restroom without noticing that there wasn’t a public one due to the space, the guy in the front allowed me to use the employee restroom in the back, which was very kind of him. Felt like I got special access to see behind the screens of their operation in which in fact I did! From the back room where they store equipment and walking through the kitchen, also noticed the food preparation area. I got to say this place is very clean!! Once they brought out the food to our table, they also added another drink (we usually share one but I’ll take it!) very generous of them, very much appreciated at this point. The food was fresh and tasteful, we went with two Oklahoma burgers with their truffle fries & two Sunkist 👌🏾 When we finished, I noticed what looked to be the manager or owner at the front so we wanted to express our experience thus far, we told him where we came from, and he told us the history of how the business came about, starting as an idea in the late 90’s to have halal burgers available with great taste and options. Okay honestly, I’m not a person who does a lot of reviews but all I have to say is if I had the options for more stars I would give all of them. I was driving home from Manhattan to Danbury, CT- and I’ve heard really good things about this chain! So I thought might as well stop by! First of all, when coming into the store it is very clean and you can see there is effort put into the place. The two gentleman who were there were the NICEST people ever. Since it was my first time I was hesitant on what to order because there were so many options. I asked them to surprise me with two burgers and they did. In addition I got fries, mozzarella sticks, and chicken nuggets. The chicken nuggets were literally so flavorful and crunchy!!!! The fries were also hot and crunchy! The mozzarella sticks were actually BIG & the cheese pull was out of this world. The guys were so nice that they have us extra fries (truffle fries) on the house. The burgers they gave me (I believe it was the nacho burger- the other one I forgot the name) were so good, that I feel like I have a food coma.
