Happy Wok — Restaurant in New York

I had my order delivered. Compared to the other Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood, I thought Happy Wok's food was good. I got mixed vegetables in garlic sauce (was a bit too sweet -- I ended up picking out the vegetables from the sauce) over brown rice (yes, they have brown rice!!!). My fiance got beef with broccoli in black bean sauce (too salty for me) over vegetable fried rice (a little bland). We both thought it was ok, and definitely better than some of the other places in the neighborhood. The delivery guy was pretty friendly as well.

They make the best wonton egg drop soup that I've ever had. No other Chinese restaurant can come close. Their lunch specials are all good. I've never been disappointed with their food. The lady with the pink baseball cap knows my voice whenever I call to order and when I get there she has my food ready. She'll even go the extra mile to call me back after I've placed my order to let me know that they have run out of whatever I might have ordered and would suggest a substitute, to which I would gladly agree. It's crazy how you call them to place an order for delivery, they answered and ask for your address. I live over on Vyse and 174th and they aren't even a mile away from my address, but I was told they don't deliver to my area. It's literally a 15 min walk away from me and they REFUSED to accept my order, then after I decided to take the walk to them, they REFUSED to answer my number when I called again to place a pick up.
