Holy Schnitzel (Sheepshead Bay) — Restaurant in New York

I made the order at 9:45pm and the food showed up close to 12am. I kept calling within those 2 hours and kept getting told it was 10 minutes away. The place is 6 blocks away from my house. Why cant they just be honest and tell me its going to take 2 hours. And save my starvation and time. This isnt the first time they do this. I never write reviews but the workers dont care. When my food came it was cold. I called back and the guy is trying to find any excuse why it isnt there fault. He literally asked me whats the reason for the driver being delayed ? How should i know thats why im calling ! And he told me why dint i pick up the food instead When that same guy told me its going to take 30 MINUTES to come. Why would i assume hes lying. They did give me a credit of half the price i payed. But waiting 2 hours for cold food isnt worth any discount. im not going to say the guys name but he really couldnt care less. Like i have nothing better to do on a saturday night then call them every half hour asking for my food while they put me on hold with there holy shnitzel music. Never order from them on saturday night unless you want to wait hours. This has happened to me from them so many times. And i still order from them for some reason. Why would the guy tell me i should of picked it up? Be honest and say you have one driver taking 50 orders. There are other places to order from that come at a decent time . But no they just want your money so they will lie and say the driver just left. And shows up 2 hours later . Im 6 blocks away ! Just be honest. If you nees 2 hours let me know i will happily order some where else. Dont garantee me a time just to hold me off until the...

Holy Schnitzel Bat Man, that was the worst sandwich I ever tasted. (Maurice) Sandwich was just blah. Really should be a zero star. Bread was plain, no taste, they don’t make there own bread, no one with food experience would allow that to be served, Schnitzel itself was thin and tasteless, put some spices can’t be that hard. The sautéed Onions where again tasteless, and just not good. Theme here!! Place should be called Holy tasteless Schnitzel.

Wings; sauce was bland, and chicken nothing special, any shelf sauce in a grocery store would be better.

Popcorn chicken, was dry and the BBQ sauce was just sweet, no BBQ taste or smell.

Cornflake Chicken fingers, they were a nice size, but that is were it ends. Daughter who loves chicken fingers would rather have eaten frozen chicken nuggets.

The only good thing was the Moroccan Beef Cigars, don’t think that is home made, must be purchased from a commercial vendor. (The only reason getting 2 stars rather then zero)

Waste of $72, would have rather had cereal for dinner.

Hope the other 2 locations aren’t this bad.

Creepy customer service on the phone . I asked someone what is the options or add-ons to chicken avocado sandwich and he answered "my brain is not picking up what you are saying " . When I spelled the word "options " he did not get it either . When someone else took over the phone he gave me some options to add to my sandwich but when I asked to repeat he refused and said " better go on the website and order from there it is a same price . All this conversation was accompanied by laughing background noise and co workers saying "nobody can understand her " . It is very sad that a jew treats this way another jew . Derech Eretz kadma le Tora. I guess they are unfamiliar with meaning of that sentence .

An update after your responce: Instead of apology for your bizarre behaviour with a customer over the phone you starting your answer with a lie . I never had your restaurant calling me back after this review . The fact is that your co workers were making fun of me and were laughing on my accent .
