I really had high hopes for this place. I ate out here with my friend and I had a very good experience. the food was good the staff was was ok, but this last experience was incredibly maddening.
I placed an order at 620pm. its currently 8:02pm. I called the restaurant. was placed on hold. the guy asked me what I wanted. advised him I'm calling for an update on my order. he placed me on hold again.
several minutes later he asked again. what do I want. I told him again. he said its on the way. I asked him, didn't he want the order number? he simply said no. I said I ordered this at 620. he repeated himself -the order is on the way. very pissed here.
A half hour later, still nothing. I called back. I ask for status on my order. the guys like, oh the delivery guy is probably around the corner he should be there soon. I'm like, no he's not.I've been told this for about 3 hours now and nobodys showing up. He's like oh I see your order now if you want to give you a refund or we can send it to the kitchen now and they'll have it by you in about a half hour. I said fine.
45 minutes later, still nobody. I call them back. I said I want to cancel my order. They transferred me to a manager. I repeated that I wanted to cancel my order. The guy on the phone tells me, oh seamless cancelled your order. At this point I am boiling with rage.
I asked the guy if that's the case, why hasn't anybody contacted me in the last three and a half hours? He's like, oh I tried to call you back but I didn't have your information. He said that I'd be receiving a refund. I hung up the phone on him I was so irritated.
Not trusting anybody at this point I called up Seamless. Seamless tells me that the restaurant cancelled the order themselves a few minutes earlier. They told me that the restaurant cited trouble with their tablet and they only just received the order.
I asked them if a restaurant receives the customers contact information when the orders placed. Seamless told me yes, but in all fairness they say they only got the order a few minutes ago because of their tablet. Then i asked why seamless didn't contact me after up to 4 hours since the order was placed, didn't they see there was a problem.
The call center rep said that seamless doesn't track every single order and he said I would be receiving a refund and he offered me a credit.
All in all this has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I will never, ever, ever, go to this place again or recommend it to my friends. completely dishonest...

I was met by an employ that acted silly and unprofessional, he made a mockery of the restaurant that I order from regularly. I later found out his name to be Joseph.
Joseph passed the phone to Elona, who presented her self as the manager. I explained the situation again to Elona and she then tried to charge me again for another order. I told her that I will definitely not pay twice for one order, especially when that first order came half empty. Elona finally came clean and told me she wasn’t the manager (what a surprise) and proceeded to tell me that Victor will fire her if she doesn’t charge me double. (This is not how employees should be treated Victor)
Victor gives me a call thirty minutes later telling me that they video taped the chefs making the food (No Victor! How would you like it if someone videotaped your every move) and the chefs are required to weight out each portion. He proceeded to convince me to text him pictures of the food, keep in mind we finished dinner about an hour before he called, because he can’t believe that the chef didn’t make a mistake.
My only explanation left, Victor, is that the bus boys or the delivery guy had quick snack from my food before I had a chance to pick it up.
The food here is delicious and I wish there was a way to get the food without dealing with the people. Even if there was, god help you if they make a mistake with your order because I know for sure SIZZLING WOK WILL NOT HELP THE CUSTOMER. The ENTIRE chain of command was extremely unprofessional and I’m confident that competition from other restaurants will teach SIZZLING WOK how to treat customers. Read moreCustomer service and food is very poor. We ordered Chicken Noodle soup, one small one large. They gave us two small soups.
When I asked why I had small when I ordered large. The waiter flustered and the owner said they made a mistake by giving us both large, when clearly they were both small plastic soup containers. No bowls for soup.
We ordered Rice with Meat and Broccoli. Instead they messed up (again) and gave us Chicken Rice soup. My sister complained to them about their mistake, until they fixed it.
My father's chicken wings were very greasy and hard. It had been refried many times over. Recycled chicken wings. My onion rings were super hard.
The waiter doesn't take your order. He just gives you a menu and tells you to come up to the counter when you are ready to order. Very amateur move if elderly people visit this place and have a hard time getting around, as is the case with my father. He's in his 70s and has difficulties walking.
Guests shouldn't have to walk across the room to make an order, that's why you have a waiter or why have them at all?
Last, since this place is small it gets cold fast because their front door is broken. Everytime customers walk in, the glass door would close halfway. The wind from the street...
