Laghman Express — Restaurant in New York

I've been to their first restaurant numerous times and their food and service is second to none. And this place is no different except that it has a larger seating area with booths for larger diners. Amazing food and wonderful staff that are so friendly that you feel like you're at a close family's members home.

Their menu is great and makes it really difficult to choose at times but my go to is the famous dry fried noodles. I decided to get the rice noodles with beef today and of course, they were wonderful. I've also lately been indulging in their stir fried lamb with scallions.

My go to appetizers are usually the fried wontons, samsa, manti, or the beef dumplings (not in any specific order).

I got to meet one of the owners that i always see on social media and he was very pleasant and working dl hard prepping the vegetables. You have to respect an owner that gets his hands busy in the trenches to make such succulent cuisine.

I recently visited Lagman Express and had a surprisingly great experience. The place has a casual, cozy vibe—nothing too fancy, but clean and comfortable enough to kick back and enjoy your meal.

I tried a few different things off the menu to get a real feel for the variety. The chicken shawarma was solid—juicy, well-seasoned, and wrapped up in a warm, slightly crispy flatbread. It hit the spot. The chicken noodles were a standout: perfectly cooked noodles with tender chicken and a nice balance of spices—comfort food done right.

I was curious about their cucumber sushi, and it turned out to be a refreshing twist—light, crisp, and a good palate cleanser between the heavier dishes. To wash it all down, I had the orange mango mojito (or “mahito,” as they call it), and it was honestly delicious—fruity, minty, and super refreshing without being too sweet.

This brand-new spot impresses with its modern, neat, and minimalist design—bravo to the team for creating such a welcoming ambiance. The cubicle-style seating adds a touch of privacy, while the express service ensures a smooth and efficient dining experience.

The kitchen and service staff are impressively well-organized and work seamlessly together. I ordered the Steamed Dumplings with a chili-sweet vinegar dressing, the Cucumber Salad with sesame dressing, and their signature classics—Guyurou Lagman and Dry Fried Lagman. Every dish was not only beautifully presented but also packed with incredible flavor. Best Lagman in Brooklyn so far!

Portion sizes were just right—perfect for one person to leave feeling satisfied. Their exclusive Moroccan Tea with Berries and Mint deserves a special mention; it was a delightful and refreshing treat.
